Atleast they are allowed to sell it here. Dying Light had the same problems and it was straight up banned here and still is, because you were also able to dismember humans. But atleast the censorship is not as bad, as it used to be in the 90s/2000s.

Well in 1996 the censorship was quite harsh. You were not allowed to kill human characters, especially government forces, and blood had to be removed or to be colored into other colors like black or green. I guess in Resident Evil case you fought monsters most of the time, so the "no human deaths" rule didn't appeal. And they colored the blood probably in black. But those are just guesses, since I never have played it.
