Not really. It's not the country; I was fortunate to be born in any first world one. It's just life. It sucks and I hate it and wish I'd never been born.

It's laughable really. Anyone who ponders it even for a moment realises how shitty most of their life has been. Perhaps a few moments of genuine happiness as kids, at uni, perhaps one or to when the kids are young, but that's it - the rest oscillates between apathy and misery.

Can't believe I'll have to exist for another 60 shitty years. Hopefully the world ends before then.

This really is the cruelest thing, and I had a bit of it. How on Earth can parents justify it? I can see how it happens - one's conviction of rightness is just too strong. Yet if they'd only take a step back and actually realise the suffering they're bringing on their child, surely they'd stop?
