The church services feels like some denomination of Protestant — they did a lot to try to come off as more mainstream, as just another Christian denomination, from what I’ve heard. The people are warm overall — they’re not an insular religion like a lot of others are and actively seek converts by requiring missionary service for all males, which sets them apart from a lot of other religions as well. I would never become one simply because I don’t believe in it, but they do have a nice community, which is what a lot of people are missing in their life.
