Reminds me of how YouTube wouldn't shut up about China "collapsing" a couple years ago and yet they keep chugging along fine. AI will be fine (unfortunately).

With trillions of dollars, whole economies backing it, and its biggest proponents being corporations that can more or less control reality there is no way for it to fail. I do not think it will deliver on its promises and it will only lower the quality of life, but this will be made to be an okay (even aimed for) outcome.I try to avoid it just because I am lazy and it gives me nightmares.
