90% of French restaurants just buy pre-made food and reheat it.When you order a dish in a French restaurant, the workers in the back just take the pre-made dish from the freezer and reheat it in the oven. That's why most restaurants are able to have such a large menu.Customers don't notice it because they're dumb and retarded. Is this a common practice in your country too?
Same thing in French bakeries and patisseries btw.The only thing French bakeries actually make themselves is bread. Everything else, they just buy it pre-made from large suppliers.
>>221322742French restaurants just is a dew drop of soup served on an acorn and that's the whole experience
>>221322742WTF? Why do french eat airplane parts?
>>221322742Same thing with fast food in America. The chicken nuggets from McDonald's are ordered from the same place as the nuggets from Burger King, Wendy's, etc. The burger patties, buns, everything. They're either from Sysco, US Foods or PFG. It all literally the same shit cooked slightly different
>>221322821>Tarte au Citroën meringuéeWhat?
>>221322821>>221322742You'd 100% be able to make the difference, i hope Otherwise it just means your palate sucks or the industrial food is somehow that good
>>221322742Yeah, the most blatant example is every "local" Chinese restaurant having the exact same menu.
>>221322742>Is this a common practice in your country too?Yes we also have metro
>>221322742>>221322821Yes. Most local cuisine restaurants are dogshit because of that
>>221322742It depends on the food items. Good restaurants source vegetables locally, but most other things are frozen. Many restaurants straight up use Ore-Ida frozen fries that they put in the deep fryer. Same with Tyson chicken.
