as an italian in Denmark trying to learn danish I'm starting to understand the historical catastrophe of imposing the latin alphabet on nordic populations. When your language has 19 vowels and *gargly sounds* it just doesn't work, it's like trying to write neapolitan dialect in kanji. Why even bother writing down "meget" if you pronounce it as "maal" anyway, just use runes like your ancestors o algo
