are maids/domestic helpers common in your country?
what do people in your country think of the concept of having maids around to do chores?

I think its weird and it makes me kind of uncomfortable
>>
No, you need to be in the 1% income bracket to have domestic helpers here so your average professional worker like an engineer can't afford a maid here. Labor costs are high and labor protections are strong. If you are a power couple with two salaries you might get yourself a Latin American aupair but they are not supposed to do. any cleaning.

how do they prevent sex crimes? i know singapores laws are strict but it seems difficult to prevent them entirely

Countries like Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and gulf states will collapse overnight if their hidden slave class comprise of exploited filipinos, indians and bangladeshi disappear. The average citizen there can't even lift their asses up

Nothing wrong with it if they get paid a fair wage

didnt this guy hang himself like a decade ago

I'm thinking of hiring a maid to come by once a month or so just to clean

I have seen posts on LinkedIn out of all places of Indians passive aggressively complaining that their maids out of dl town because they have to travel to their home village to cast their vote in an election. This level of brash classicism would get you shunned here.

Gues against the prussian spirit and it would be pretty expensive. Tho more common with elderly people because the state subsidizes them

Knew one case where a bunch of students who lived together pooled their mobey together just so they could get a cleaning lady come to their WG 1-2 a week lol

It's more like humblebragging

The concept of equality is really only Western European thing.

why are all Jews communists? also didn't this guy kill himself? people like this are not worth listening to

Women (especially Latin American) do work at people's homes, but they mostly take care of elders or do some house chores for a couple of hours a day and leave. Actually living in the employer's house, wearing a maid uniform and calling you master like in muh animes? Not in this century unless you're some weird old fashioned millionaire I guess.

Maids are normal in my country, not repressed at all, it's usually a woman's first job before starting something bigger. Most people would like to have one but they cost a bunch of money to hire

I had two Indon maids growing up but nowadays, live in maids are becoming rare. People rather send their kids to daycare and wives feel their position threatened by young nubile Indon/Flip maids. There's an age limit of 40 years old for foreign maids, probably put in place by a pervert politician.

thirdies love bragging about how many slaves they have

No, people find the idea offensive. What are you some frail old man who can't do your chores on your own?

As they should
>>
>>221345599
the most reliable maids are actually above 40 though. below 40 maids are a flight risk. but I guess the dynamics might be different in Malaysia where the maid market is mostly foreign.

why do low moral gaijin go to prosperous asian country and tell them how to live their lives?
>>
>>221342361
I like the idea of not having to do all that stuff, but having another person around sounds super awkward
>>
>>221342361
They are exploiting the third world.
