what do you eat for breakfast in your country?
>>221348630I had this today
>>221348630Idly and sambar
>>221348630
>>221348785One of my favorite dishes, damn I wish I could eat some lechazo rn
Had pancakes with cherries today, but usually just bread or goyslop (microwave meal)
>>221348630Eggs are the only non inflammatory option
Eggs with prehispanic sausage called chorizo
>>221348923What's the upper part of the plate? I don't recognize it
>>221348961Dog puke duh
>>221348756proppah. lush.
>>221348923Looks good, I prefer longaniza over chorizo but chorizo is usually cheaper here
>>221349079Have you had chistorra? it's my favorite, crispier, full of taste, perfect amount of spices
>>221349148I haven't, I kinda like the softer mushy texture of chorizo/longaniza. Is chistorra more like Portuguese sausage?
>>221349433>Is chistorra more like Portuguese sausage?Unsure>I kinda like the softer mushy texture of chorizo/longanizaThen you won't prefer it, this one is crispier and more toasted
3 egg omelette with ham, home made hash browns, coffee
>>221348672just meat?
>>221349551I'm on a keto diet to try and lose some weight. I only drink destiled drinks with no carbs, bacon, cured meat, and eggs. I tried on veggies but I just dislike the taste.
we're poor so none we eat until lunch
>>221349642Your flag is all messed up, bro
>>221348630Eggs with bread. Boiled, fried or an omelette. Or just coffee.
>>221349605>I tried on veggies but I just dislike the taste
>>221350102I'm 34, just can't stand the taste of vegetables, only some of them and in very small portions. I only like avocados.
>>221350120Be a man holy fuckAlso stop eating bacon and fucking vodka. This is processed goyslop
>>221350120that's okay, you are an honorary american now
>>221348630coffee, petit-suisse, and a fruit
>>221350156Also vodka is caloric as fuckAlcohol is the worst thing possible if you're trying to lose weightBtw are you the spanish alcoholic?
>>221350156I drink vodka because I'm an alcoholic and need someone to drink while on ketoBacon just tastes sooo good and it's a cheap way to eat meat in here. Prices of regular meat are extremely expensive, like 6€ for a piece of chicken that won't even made me satisfied for dinner. I'm living off bacon, fuet (cured pork meat in a long stick) and fried pig skin
>>221350192>petit-suisseHow petite were they?
>>221350304no macaca
>>221350304two of these
>>221350289something* not someone lol>>221350281Yeah, I amYeah, my caloric intake atm is very high, higher than before being on keto, but so far in 2 weeks I've lost 3kg. Cutting all carbs is the only way for me to actually lose weight, for some reason
>>221350341you should eat less food if you want to keep drinking alcohol and lose weight. and don't eat fried stuff, the oil adds empty calories
>>221348630Anglos are the protagonist of the world and every country is their amusement park
>>221350341This happens because you're losing water, not fat.Happens because you're reporting your muscles of glycogen>>221350289>I'm living off bacon, fuet (cured pork meat in a long stick) and fried pig skinIsn't there any way you can eat proper meat? You're just eating fat
>>221350338Looks tastyAre they good?
>>221350341Alcohol is retarded. Smoke weed instead.
>>221350386I'm eating the bare minimum to keep hunger under control. I might lower intake later on if I get used to being on a diet. The first days were a nightmare and had to purposely avoid binge eating to cope (thankfully I did). It's easier now, but I'm still pretty hungry>>221350671>Isn't there any way you can eat proper meat? You're just eating fatAs I said, it's because of money. But yes, I will eventually start buying more chicken if I can control cravings more and spend less money in easy fats.I actually like fish, but it's like double the price of meat too
>>221350722Weed smells terrible and I have to show up to work everyday. Also, it's not as accesible as just going to the supermarket and buying a bottle.
>>221350695yesyou put these in a bowl and mix, you can add sugar if you like
>>221348630Bread, feta cheese, eggs, beans. The quintessential egypsy breakfast minus the falafel
>>221350974lmao egyptians still eatin like they're under greek rule
>>221350840Edibles are your solution if you don't like the smell. I forget it's not as accessible everywhere as it is here, we literally have weed markets lmao
>>221351005and thats a good thing
>>221351073I would had to find a dealer and pay 15x times more than I do drinking. So won't happen.I'm not against weed tho, just not a realistic substitute for me
>>221348630i eat your mom's pussy for breakfast
>>221350120>I'm 34, just can't stand the taste of vegetablesHow does somebody end up like this?
>>221351186Haha gottem.
>>221348630porridge :)
I just drink some tea and maybe eat a wafer
>>221351179I'm an alcoholic, currently dry. I hate weed. It just doesn't do the same thing, or anything I want to feel. It's a shitty substitute for alcohol. >>221348630Protein shake, Belvita packet, and a banana
>>221352372Is there any real substitute anyway? Whenever I try to stay dry I have the worst 3-4 withdrawal, get better, recover my sleep, heart rate, anxiety from the withdrawal vanishes, then feel the complete boringness of my life outside work and lack of interest in anything while sober and will pick up the bottle again "now with control" only to end up in the same level of alcoholism weeks after
>>221352458I've quit drinking a few times, I taper off over a week or so to avoid the worst of the withdrawal. It works. Just reduce your number of drinks by 1 or 2 a day until you are down to nothing. This is what my doctor told me to do. I get the boringness, that's why I always end up back on the bottle.
>>221352458Oh man, I feel your pain. I was in that cycle for years. I have gradually started putting together more sober time over the years by taking Antabuse. At first I would take it for a few weeks, then stop and go back to drinking for a few weeks. Gradually the periods on it got longer, and the periods off it got shorter. Now I have at most one short relapse a year. But I'm still entirely dependent on Antabuse. If I ever get cut off, I'm screwed. Other stuff eventually gets more interesting and enjoyable without alcohol, but it's never quite as good. So in that sense, you're right, there is no perfect substitute. But when your life gets better overall and you don't have to deal with all the bad shit that alcoholism brings, it more than compensates for the lack of the intense pleasure alcohol brings for very short periods.
Coffee, nicotine pouches, and sometimes butter and ham sandwich.
>>221352652>>221352659I used to be unable to stop drinking because of the withdrawals (mine are severe anxiety, feelings of impending doom, irregular heart rate, delusions of going to have a heart attack, insomnia, delusions of "weird things" going on, such as: something is wrong with my jaw) but funnily enough I've gotten way better results if I just lower the amount of alcohol and not stop drinking completely. I will still get withdrawal even if I keep drinking, but it will be way more manageable and then after some days I will be able to actually stop drinking at all. Then, as the withdrawal disappears, I will feel phisically in a very good place, deep sleep and dreaming returns, and so on, and have the best 5 to 7 days until I relapse again due to boringness and lack of interest in anything in life.
it's been years but I haven't had any withdrawals yet, I just did 12 days without 2 months ago and nothing
>>221353026If you don't get them hours to a day after, then you won't. I think it deppends on how deep your alcoholism is. At first I had hangovers, then the hangovers disappeared and I could drink without any real consequence, and one day the withdrawals started appearing. At that point I was as deep as a bottle and a half of gin or vodka a day and some beers.
>>221353026I was the same. I never got strong withdrawals. I always felt just relief when I was finally able to stop for a few days. But then the boredom set in, as >>221352960 aptly points out. And you forget just how miserable alcohol made you feel, instead focusing on just how terrific it felt at first.
>>221352960I get all of that stuff too if I just quit drinking suddenly. I even had a seizure one time. When I quit gradually the worst I experience is mild anxiety and I have some trouble sleeping, but it doesn't last long, at the end of a taper I feel great physically.
>>221353154Yeah, sounds like we have similar experiences except that thankfully I haven't had any seizure. I've got some mild shakes sometimes that I could hide from work because of being winter and being cold. That's btw another reason why most of the time I relapsed, it got so bad during work hours that I just had to disappear for 5min and chug alcohol for it to stop
How do people end up alcoholic?I've taste alcohol before and the taste just seemed awful to me
>>221353593You just get used to the taste
>>221353697HmmI liked one type of dark beer, but never felt it was better than soda or juice
>>221350120>just can't stand the taste of vegetablesnigga, how?what have you tried?
>>221353767yeah, you just like sugar. you might like desperados
>>221354004I love sweet thingsIt's true
>>221348630>2 cups of coffee>2 cigarettes>a large glass of orange juice>2 sausages and 2 eggs, fried>a hot sandwich with tomato, onion, cheese>a piece of fruit(usually a banana)>a few handfuls of peanuts>a chocolate barUsually this will last me until dinner, apart from having a few more cigarettes and cups of coffee throughout the day.
>>221351179>>221352372>>221352458You're doing it wrong. Weed isn't a "substitute" for alcohol. It's a supplement. Weed and alcohol enhance each others' effects so you need considerably less of each if you do both at the same time. I've estimated that every 5€ I spend on weed saves me 10€ on alcohol, and the inverse was true when I was primarily a stoner, with every 5€ spent on alcohol saving me 10€ worth in weed.
>>221355794sounds good, aside for the cigarettes. Are you thin and healthy?
>>221348630Porridge with cocoa powder
>>221348835>goyslop (microwave meal)why do you do this to yourself?
>>221356920>Are you thin and healthy?Yes, and no. I'm at a healthy weight but I wouldn't call myself, "healthy" simply because I drink and smoke far and beyond what can be considered as such.
