Have you ever become a citizen of another country via investment or donation?
>>
I don't have money
>>
>>221358251
Because you spent it all to become a citizen of São Tomé and Principe
>>
>>221358013
I inherited from my mother's Chilean passport, without doing much effort.
>>
>>221359524
Nice, Chile seems cool
>>

Most of these citizenships-to-acquire aren't very desirable if you're from a first world country (except USA, because it could make sense to avoid paying US taxes everywhere in the world).
>>
>>221359644
It's practical in case of WW3
>>
>>221361060
We still have to pay taxes to the US (above $60k~ I think) no matter where we live
>>
>>221362156
That’s why these second passports are useful for a US citizen, because then you can renounce your US citizenship, move to a zero-tax jurisdiction and live tax-free

Citizens from other first world countries aren’t taxed abroad, so paying to acquire an Antigua and Barbuda passport is a waste of money to them (it’s cool if you are extremely rich and collect citizenships as a hobby)
>>
>>221362156
There's 110k-ish (changes every year or so) exemption if you don't spend more than a few weeks in US. You still have to file no matter what
>>
>>221362307
That's true but there's an exit tax when you renounce too
>>
>>221362361
RIP

Personally I avoid being linked in any way to the US for my business, just because I don’t want to become a "US person" or deal with the IRS in any way.
>>
>>221358013
Isn't it kind of dumb that they cant decide on their official names and have to include both on their passport
>>
>>221358013
No, but I would seriously consider buying citizenship in Iran, Pakistan, or some other muzzie shithole where women are still treated correctly and it's legal to marry 12 year olds.
>>
>>221362665
finnish niggas always twekin
>>
>>221362549
That's understandable. I've heard banks are often reluctant to let US persons have an account. US clients create a lot of administrative work for them.
>>
>>221363129
Yeah, and people who have dual citizenship (like Euros born in the US) sometimes renounce their US citizenship just because it's such a hassle with banks and taxes. With the US, you have to be completely "in" or completely "out" of the US system, which is too bad because it has the best opportunities in the world for business, by far.
>>
>>221363129
It's one separate piece of paper for you and a quarterly submission to the US Government for FATCA. It's not a big deal.
>>

you can get St. Kitts citizenship for as low as 200k USD
honestly if I was a mutt I'd just sell my inheritance and fuck off there ASAP, buy a boat and rent it out to divers or whatever while chilling on the beach

>honestly if I was a mutt I'd just sell my inheritance and fuck off there ASAP, buy a boat and rent it out to divers or whatever while chilling on the beach
Yeah, that sounds great. But couldn't you keep your $200k USD inheritance and do that in California, Florida, or Hawaii?
>>
>>221364375
200k wouldn't buy you a shack on the beach in any of those places. Maybe a small boat you can also live in and then you still have to pay docking fees etc
>>
>>221364421
But you won't have the $200k in St. Kitts either because you spent it on the citizenship. And I think the cost of living in St. Kitts is fairly high.
>>
>>221364375
and have to keep living in America? are you insane? also what the tranny said
>>
>>221364480
you buy a property for 200k and get the citizenship you retard
>>
>>221364509
No, citizenship requires donations/fees of about $250k USD. Then you'd have to buy a property there. If you want citizenship via property purchase, that would be about $400k USD.

I think prices used to be more like what you said. But they've increased.
