I don't think there is a single country in the world that would do this 4 choice answer thing for the ENTIRE exam and from what I've seen (from the practice materials) they really ask the absolute basics. I think it is actually good because doing the exam you can immediately tell this way what part you don't understand and what part you do where as here with the more complicated text based exams are much harder to tell which material you don't understand fully. But knowing this I find it almost impossible for whites in USA to outcompete Europeans. Look up a French math advanced exam in English, it is a day and night difference to the American Finals

I'd rather have a higher ratio of people who can do things like fix cars to something like physicists or engineers. You only need one architect to design a building and hundreds of laborers to actually build it.

I hate California, but readily admit Californians are more intelligent than most US states. The reason their IQ scores are so low is because so many can't even read English. The no child left behind act also makes things interesting because it turns schools into hospitals. Children with mental illness and retardation sit in their own classrooms sucking oxygen through straws in their throats. It costs so much more to watch over them than average students and everyone suffers because of it. In many places throughout the US, parents can now take their children to better performing school districts. If you live in the slums you can take your kids to the rich neighborhoods if you can afford the gas to drive them there. Except for cases when students endanger other students and faculty, I'm not against these things, but it's why we test score so low. Case in point, nobody wants to move to the Midwest, but they generally score very high.
