I stopped using Cursor after 2 years and have been using pi with Chinese open source models for a couple of weeks now. It's much better (and cheaper).Which coding tools do you use iyc?

I'd like some suggestions actually. I learned programming way before AI and I'm trying to get back on it latelyright now I'm using codex, I also tried ollama but every local model on there seems to require 16GB of ram at the very least

>>221444109You won't be able to run anything good locally unless you have a shitton of vram, so don't bother running anything locally with ollama unless you're rich. You're better off using codex or some Chinese subscription. I think you can use the codex subscription in pi so you should try that out. Devstral by Mistral isn't a bad option either but I prefer the Chinese models because they are the cheapest while still being very good.
