From what I understood, the aim is to persuade investors to focus on investing in new builds, not existing properties. Short term house prices will likely increase across the board. Long term, house prices in existing areas should stabilise. Either way not sure why the fuck boomers are up in arms. They’ll be dead or senile before it starts affecting their wealth.
