You cannot call hamburgers and hot dogs American without at the same time calling döner kebab German

Yet everyone does it.

wh*Tes after realising prefering döner over local food means accepting superiority of TÜRK culture:
>noooo saaaar döner is german saar we hate turkish people saar döner is not turkish we love european german döner saaAAAAARRRRR
>>

This is a Germanized döner. Prepared to Hans's taste.

Therefore, I hereby grant the descendants of the Barbarian Kingdoms the right to use the döner trademark without any payment within the borders of these tribes.

>100 years later:

>>
Turks total psychotic collapse due to only relevant part of Turk adjacent culture being invented in Germany

this was some weird thing some governmental organization in Sweden tweeeted once and it was never really based on anything and the whole claim is now some kind of urban legend that got into commercials like the one were a black guy says that nothing is Swedish and that we dont differ at all from "our viking ancestors". Basically ragebait material
>>

i have no idea.
bragging about accomplishments that have nothing to do with oneself speaks either of a lack of arguments or of an inferiority complex.
Bragging about current achievements while projecting them into the future speaks of shortsightedness.

I've had döner in the US that got glowing approval from Germans I know (work in auto tech which is full of Germ'noids) and have always simply found it good though underwhelming. We have a huge assortment of Armenian/Lebanese/Greek food here which is similar but better IMO.

I do consider that type of döner to be German desu, but the authentic stuff you can get at Turk-Armo restaurants is better. Hamburgers were not considered American until after WW2 when Germans had been fully assimilated. Hotdog and hamburger places still had meme German names and decor until the 30s-40s when German-Americans started really distancing themselves from Germany. I'd say Turks are a less assimilated into Germany presently than German-Americans are into American society because most Germany Americans have been here for 5-10 generations and most Turks in Germany just 2-3 and there isn't religions commonality.

I like the sausages Volkswagen makes. I saw a beef version the other day.

Döner kebab is German.
Chicken tikka masala is British.
Tortilla wraps are American.
Hawaiian pizza is Canadian.

>This is what the authentic Turkish döner kebab
Damn, I guess the Serbo-Bosno-Croats really did do a good job of trying to preserve the presentation and garnishing of the original kebab in their cevapi, even if what they copied was the kofta rather than the döner kebab.
>>
>>221451724
kebab is rotten meat sandwich
>>

Turkish döner sucks. Localized döner is so much better. Canadian donairs are the BEST (because they are GREEK).
