I think the shintoism stuff and the temples seem pretty cool but the food is kinda mid and overall it looks a little boring from the videos I watched. Kind of like if an autistic man tried to create the ultimate holiday experience. Why not go instead to Taiwan which is like Japan but Chinese (much cooler), or even better to Vietnam.
