Why are the French spreading anti-Roman propaganda?

Asterix : 10/10Tintin : 10/10Lucky Luke : 10/10Smurfs : 10/10If you were published in a comic book magazine like Spirou or Pilote it is because you were better than 99% of your competition, no need to argue about who is better or that or that

>>221469557All French comics and cinemas are dead now. European culture is totally dead, only Americans and Japanese can produce culture in world standard. Proof? No one in Latin America pirate French media at all, they literally pirate everything they want for free, but even for them, French media is garbage.
>>221470030kind of this unfortunately. I would like France to achieve global commercial success again, if only for the sake of balance and diversity in how the world is perceived. They just have to offer something, some new perspective that isn't lame, to revolutionize some field of art, show some new attractive idea, way of living, anything. Even a niche thing at the beginning
>>221470030>No one in Latin America pirate French media at allMaybe because they don't know French? Who the heck knows French today? It's not XIX century anymore, world's lingua franca is English and most of the French media is left untranslated. They're made for domestic market, so there's no need to enter foreign ones; US do the same but due to English being the global language their media become global by themselves.
>>221470877>Maybe because they don't know French? Who the heck knows French today? They don't know Japanese at all, remember they complain about Japan for not selling anime or manga for them. They still pirate Japanese anime and manga without subs.
I liked it as a kid, and I'm struggling to get whynone of the jokes made any sense like they do now>>221470877they love spanish dubs of stuff like simpsons and dbzthink the bigger problem is the only relevant french media now is b movies from studiocanal and games without gameplay from ubisoft
