I wouldn't mind a sikh temple being built in my country. A mosque would be very controversial but not scandalous. But a hindu temple, any form of open polytheism, i believe not many mexicans would accept that. Too alien, too many bad experiences with santeria and narcosatanism, too many evangelicals already preaching against the veneration of saints.But what about your country and countrymen? I ask this question mostly to other third worlders, not so much europeans or americans or japanese or koreans or etc
