If WW2 didn't happen, would they have invaded European countries eventually?

>>221497614that was before ww2.
>>221497595It would've collapsed without WW2 which literally united it
>>221497595Yes. The prime objective of Commintern was to forment violent revolution around the world. It was then hijacked by Stalin to create a Soviet empire and client states in Europe. That's why he intervened in the Spanish Civil War and invaded Poland. He was expecting Hitler to not be a rash fool that early though and was caught by surprise when Germany reneged on their secret NAP to divide Poland. Stalin was expecting he had another 1-2 years to prepare to invade Germany and Europe, so he purged all his officer corps from potential rivals and was caught flat footed with no competent commanders when Barbarosa started.

>>221497595>eventually Are you historically illiterate? They DID invade Europe. They invaded the Baltics, and then pressured Romania into giving up Moldova, with the threat of invasion, and then invaded Poland and Finland. This was before Germany launched any attack against USSR
>>221497595we'll never know
>>221497595No, I don't think so. If they have only stopped in 39 after acquiring parts of Poland. Because that's the closest to the natural borders of Russia.Maybe they would have another try with Finland, but I doubt that.
