I’m Japanese, but when I went to Namba in Osaka for the first time in ten years, I was actually a bit disappointed. Namba had turned into a proper tourist trap, and the people there had started to act just like Tokyoites. It made me realise that when a place becomes a tourist attraction, it loses its soul.

From there I recommend to take a flight to okinawa for a few days too!.I don't know japanese that well, but a few weeks of loose study is enoght to comfortably order beer, food or buy loli figures.
