well, desu, does it make sense to have another kid? I know all the idiots on here just say to have 10 kids or whatever, but they're expensive. I have 2 going to school now and what they need never ends. I don't think I would have the energy for a 3rd one. What part of the country OP? I'm PNW.

Weve got a pretty good deal for another year but things could go up at any moment. 10 kids is way too much but honestly I think another 2 or 3 is doable. I learnt a lot of tricks when it comes to frugal parenting from my own mom and dad who had 7 including me. If you try to follow the "right" methods, you'll never make it. You have to take what worked in the past and adapt it to modern technology and try to bend around modern regulations. I had a happy childhood, and I gained a lot of knowledge from my mom and dad, so I think if i do the same for my own kids it'll go well.

Anything beyond that is going to drain your energy and adds another bill to your responsibility as a parent. Trust me, being a third worlder I learned about this thing the hard way, not saying that i have a kids myself but seeing people around me suffer for having too much kids gives me a shiver for it. As we speak right now, my country is full of jobless neet who are incapable of getting themselves a job despite being more than qualified for it, why? Because there's too much people and less job opening in here; its hard for the latter to balance the extreme demand of the former, this is the result of older generation having 3-6 kids per household back in 90s

Yeah taking care of 3 babies sounds like hell but it pays off plus kids love having siblings. If I didn't have siblings I'd be really lonely
