>>221526080In Chicago Latinx people are looked at the same as whites and blacks unless you don't speak English or have an extremely heavy foreign accent—then you're looked at as other. Otherwise, you will just be seen as a fellow Chicagoan, especially if it's just an average American accent. Most have a latinx tinged accent though even with having been born and raised here—the phone test sort where you can for example tell a nigga is on the other end of the line.
