Yes, it's better. Our local park is beautiful these days, but there aren't a lot of kids as I remember to. There are also a lot of Venezuelans living here, one of the schools that is near my house has like a 50% venezuelan pop. I know this, because I teached there.

When our neighbourhood was built 20 years ago there were kids everywhere because they were family homes with 4-5 bedrooms. But now all the kids grew up and left and these boomers don't want to sell their houses. And even if they do it's to a foreigner because locals, who want to start a family, can't afford a 1 million dollar home in their 20s and 30s. Nicely kept, quiet, and safe, but also soulless and depressing.

Make boomers illegal

All the farms are being razed for suburbs that will house Indians and Pakis.

I grew up in a village of 200 people. The biggest change that happened there was some company setting up an oyster farm on the shore which upset the villagers because their children are stepping on sharp oyster pieces in the water o algo. Other than that nothing has changed.

Same town, and yes a lot. When I grew up here it was a college town filled with poor students and the town itself was a mix of hippies, blue collar gun nuts, and meth heads / heroin junkies in a town that was semi run down with just white people and natives. Pretty strange place. Now its got an extra 25k people of pretty mixed backgrounds from everywhere around the world and has become like a little Portland and lots of new buildings. Still a nice place , but it doesnt have the same wild spirit

It used to be a quiet neighborhood in the countryside with kids playing outside. Most of the families are still there but all the kids are adults now, moved out and are having their own families. The oldest people died and have been replaced by other people who've got young kids.
It's the same but less lively cause everyone's aged and few new faces.
