But you have slight amounts of HGH or something so your bones get thicker a slow rate, which results in a wider, more robust skull.But then in old age you start losing bone density and it shrinks, usually shrinking in the vertical axis so your jaw will be wider but shorter, bone behind teeth retreats, cheek bones become less pronounced. Druggies get "old face" with that sunken-mouth look because their bones are losing density even while young.
