How do people cope with being alone and depressed in your country?
We are the lonliest country, i read in Financial times while wating in an airport in Dubai. I was coming from Hong Kong. I like to call it quiet not lonely, you do not need others interference in your shit. Embrace it, don't be a sucker to anyone, do your thing.

How can someone be completely alone? I have a gigantic tendency to isolate myself and even then I get invited to stuff here and there, I never go though. This is from friends I made at school before I even had conscienceAlso, I have a very good friend at work. But he is like me and sucks at maintaining contact, if one of us left we would drift apart. My point is, something in your routine has got to change. There is no "reaching out" and making friends. Join a class of something you like. Do you not work? Study? Someone is bound to like you if they meet you gradually in a no pressure environment (somewhere you both have to be for other reasons)
