My company got bought by a successful Israeli company and their entire MO was ignoring regulations, demanding months-long projects be done in weeks despite knowing that 90% of them would fail just so they could get the 10% that wouldn't, and generally working very talented employees into the ground.Everyone had long-ass commutes and was paying NYC-level rent prices despite making not that much money.Also all of them at all levels would argue with each other on a daily basis with an extremely abusive tone and then make up like it was nothing like thirdies tend to do. I saw my boss's boss cuss out my boss until he was in tears a half dozen times then he was a groomsman or some shit at his wedding.Very weird culture. Anyone with skills knew they'd get paid more and live better in the US so they all wanted to leave. I left just before AI ruined the jobs market and endless sand wars boosted the antisemitism market though so maybe things are different now.
