It had absolutely no impact on my life because I was already a friendless jobless loser before the pandemic.

I was quarantined alone because I lived in a one bedroom apartment at the time and my parents were covid schizos that fortressed themselves away. I was fine until like 3 weeks in, and I just started taking hot showers several times a day because I felt lonely.

I was in the army when it all went down, I was in a remote location in the middle of nowhere supposed to get training on some radio equipment, I was stuck there for 4 weeks, I sat up at night eating MRE with a LF radio receiver and huge makeshift antenna just listening to people from all over the world, Spanish, Russian, endless morse code, during the days I jogged along a forest trail, I took all the tables in the building and built a castle, I drew my own insignia on a whiteboard, I had a wonderful time honestly

Yeah I was about to move out of the house and getting my life on track. And now I'm almost 30 finishing a degree stuck at home.

I think covid is very different depending on where you are. Some countries had no lockdowns past a month, and the gayest, like Canada, has 2 years of March 2020.

I had just bought my own place 2-3 weeks before it became a thing and I was furloughed for 6-7 months with 93,5% of my original salary. Other than that I didn't really notice covid much, maybe less people outside when I went out to buy groceries.
I lost my job completely for four months and lost 70% of my income for a year after that. The only reason I avoided bankruptcy was a very cheap slum apartment i had been living in at the time to save money. If i had been paying average market rate rent I would have been wiped out in about eight months. Meanwhile people who easily moved in to work from home arrangements at full pay were telling me no we need to extend these lockdowns for the well-being of the country.

Used the bus on a daily basis. And when I eventually got covid I barely felt it. Slight fever, shallow cough and a headache for a few days.
