Its funny. I used to be super straight-edge and focused on my education and fitness and never had a sip of alcohol. Then I remember visiting some friends in NYC. It was my birthday and I had just turned 21. One roastie in the group ordered a cocktail for me and her. I recall getting hammered after one cocktail kek. It was a surreal feeling, I remember walking around the streets, after leaving the bar, puffing on a strong cigarette and looking at the skyscrapers. Roastie next to me, some friends nearby. It was a great feeling, even if it wasn't particularly unique or exclusive. When I came back home, I started drinking pretty regularly and unironically my life has been a lot more fun. I don't do it everyday, but I can't say I regret it. Do you like drinking in your cuntree, anon?

the first time i drank i totally understood why people drink themselves to deathit's gotten to the point where i drink several times a week but i've been trying to quit/at least reduce it ever since having a proper month long binge which ended up with me feeling way too horrible to justify this + i'm starting to get scared for my liver and pancreas and i'm a neet and wasted most of my savings

I like drinking, there's nothing better than sitting outside watching the cricket with a few pints and some fags. The only danger is that I can very easily drink until I chunder due to a lack of self-restraint and then it ruins the next 5 days for me

I used to enjoy it more. No more euphoria and good feeling when alcohol hits. Probably due to depression or brain being burnt out of dopamine. Only do it few times a year.
