92F (33 eurodegrees) and humid. I love traveling from an overpriced small building to another overpriced small building via the loud, crowded and dirty buses, subways, and streets. You just can't beat the hustle and bustle of the """greatest""" city in the World.

There's too many fucking people in this city. And no sense of community since you have nothing in common with 70% of the people that live around you.
>>
so then leave
there is always chicago
>>
I dont understand the people who choose to live in New York when there are states that are literal tropical paradise
>>

I'm trying brother-cousin, but if I'm going to move might as well flee to a first-world country instead of staying in the USA.
>>
>>221670586
A lot of people just live where they're born
>>
>>221670586
There's a single state with tropical weather that isn't sprawling ugly shithole, and it's expensive (because everyone wants to live there and there isn't much space).
>>
>>221670641
I did not necessary mean it in a literal way. But there are a lot of states that look much nicer to me. California, the PNW in general, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Florida
>>
The only bad things I see there are the weather, the high prices, and the dirt.
Why is it so hard for people to simply be clean and not litter?

Drove home from work this morning in flyoveria, it was 37 F and I wanted to cool down from work so I let the ac just blow in the cold air.
Returned home to my $700/month two bedroom apartment, a 25 mile and thus 25 minute drive, no traffic to speak of on the way since I was leaving the city the back way.
Listened to a little classic country on the radio.
At home, ate some beans, potatoes and cheese to save money, and got in my adjustable bed to watch some videos and play a little vidya.
My nice warm comforter is keeping the heat in now as I browse on my phone before bed.
Feels great, man.

op's issue wouldn't be solved by moving to any of those places, if he can't find community in new york moving to some small town in the pnw where he's not even going to have public transportation and start whinging about having to drive an hour to get anywhere is not going to help him at all
>>
>>221670722
PNW, much of California, and Colorado are nice, yes. I actually moved from one of those and I regret it.

Sprawling fuck ugly car dependent cities are still worse than NYC. There's a reason it's cheap there. Cause no one wants to live there.
>>
>>221670766
Take another look at the population density. NYC is one of the few cities that's comprehensively cleaner now than in its post industrial "glory days", but it's still crazy. The dirtiest part about the subways is the thick ever present layer of grime, literal grease, on the walls and floors and every surface of the trains themselves. They probably do get cleaned pretty regularly but the volume of people grabbing every bar every day is nuts.
>>
>>221670912
You literally cannot imagine anything outside of a city, because you are a spiritual nigger.
You are the meme of the guy who starts crying if taken to the woods.
>>
>>221670921
The issue is low-IQ third-world tier behavior from many of the residents. Even if a dumpster or trash is available nearby people just dump their shit on the curbs and expect some trash collector to come by eventually and get it.
>>
>>221670950
I grew up in an ugly car dependent cities "city". And the only benefit is many haven't been raped by "diversity" yet. The only acceptable ways of living are dense, walkable cities or full rural/small town.
>>
>>221670510
yeah but imagine all the quirky ethnic restaurants you have access to, you can eat swazilandese goat uterine shedding pathe or similar third world slop whenever you want which definetly makes it worth it according reddit millenials

it's getting warmer so the smell of piss and shit will become stronger :3

You can't suffer in Jew York
>>
>>221671134
Almost forgot to mention the "diverse" and "stimulating" scents of the "center of the world".
>>
>>221671252
You can ONLY suffer in Poo York

PNW seems like the comfiest place on earth, unfortunately I am a turbochud and the local leftypols there would drive me insane
>>
>>221671419
there's something in the water there that makes them extra retarded
>>
The office I work at is literaly downstairs in the same building I live in

>better standard of living than any flyover shithole
They must be doing something right...
>>
>>221670510
NYC is either
>wagies desperately trying to survive and are constantly cagey and pissed off because they live in a shithole with little self agency
>actual homeless people and drug addicts slowly dying from the sheer filth or heat
>finance bros living sheltered existences in places like Chelsea or Tribeca doing next to nothing
>tourist leeches there for pure self indulgence, who only care about taking photos to post on IG or TikTok while a homeless person is dying and so much overall suffering is happening around them
Genuinely such an inhuman cesspit, anyone who would nuke that hellhole into oblivion would be doing the world a favor honestly.

1. Most people are normal and not obsessed with politics, even if they hold progressive beliefs most people aren't religious about it.
2. Lefties mainly aggregate in Seattle, Portland, and Eugene. Both Oregon and Washington are only about 55-58% Democrat, and many of those are more moderate Democrats too.
>>
>>221671662
Okay? That doesn't even sound enjoyable.
>>
Damn dew point of 65 is awful. We occasionally have humid heatwaves like that in Los Angeles

Huh? The entire world except some shitholes like the US and irrelevant Caribbean islands use Celcius.
