Why won't they see the soccer players?
>>
>>221690078
It'll sell out right before the matches start
>>
>>221690078
Americans are such greedy jewish golems but they honestly shouldn't worry football fans are actually retarded they'll cough up any amount of money you ask
>>
>>221690078
let me guess the hotels jacked prices to 10 or 100x normal
>>
>>221690159
It's so much worse than just that
>As Europeans prepare to visit the U.S. for the World Cup, Missouri restaurant officials are proposing a controversial solution in the form of automatic tipping.
>The MRA is advising Kansas City restaurants to add an automatic 20% gratuity to bills during the tournament.
>>
>>221690147
Acting like FIFA and infantinoberg arent full of corrupt europeans (meds).
>>
>>221690078
I've heard the ticket prices are absurd
>>
>>221690078
>Retarded 48 teams format
>Even more retarded ticket prices
>Games spread over a huge ass continent
>All burger stadium are poorly/not connected to trains
>Retarded in chief started a retarded war which pumped gas prices and plane tickets
Gee I wonder why
>>
>>221690488
Qatar was so much better compared to this.
>>
>>221690376
That's an improvement on the current system. Just bake that into the price and ban tip-begging for the waiters
>>
>>221690099
Qatar matches were sold out the moment they were avaliable.
I had to sword fight my cousin for the saudi vs Argentina game. RIP

>Fucking overpriced Americans
>Damn yanks and their guns
>fucking yankee shit REEEEEEE
There are matches in Canada and Mexico yeah? It's not just the US
>>
>>221690488
>All burger stadium are poorly/not connected to trains
I didn't think about that, people can't even go to the pub before or after the match because they have to drive for an hour to get to the stadium.
>>
>>221690376
but thats what they should have done in the first place? nothing bad about this, its americans finally realizing how business work.
>>
MLS is dead as shit so half of the games are in the middle of fucking nowhere
>>221690732
exhibition stadium is one of the most accessible stadium and even that is going to be a fucking nightmare for commuters to get to
>>
>>221690376
>If I was a server, I wouldn't be too happy if I took care of somebody for 90 minutes, and they didn't tip just because they didn't know any better.
>We don't want servers to be slighted by any means just because different cultures are coming into our city.
I hope none of these cunts get any fucking tips whatsoever

>Americans don’t give a shit about soccer and just want to milk as much money as they can from this
Why would this come as a surprise to anyone?
>>
>>221690376
It'll just be a 20% price increase going to the restaurant owners, while the staff gets nothing and have to continue begging for tips.
Wagies BTFO

>I signed up for le job and now I have to do le job?
>Oh the humanity, I need 50€ in emotional damages immediately

>>
>>221690967
Imagine thinking taking a plate to a table is 'taking care of somebody'.
>>
Most venues are miles from the city centre. I see alot of angry fans
>>

You mean with your dick?
>>
>>221690488
The toronto stadium sits right in front of a train station thankfully
>>
they deported all of the soccer fans
>>
>>221691023
Don't forget the part where they mishear your order and ignore you when you want to pay :^)
>>
>>221690078
I attend MLS games and international friendlies quite a bit, and I can guarantee you this:

WC games in the US are going to be an absolute shit show. You have on idea how bad it's going to be.

People seem to think that because soccer games take place in NFL stadiums that they are as orderly as NFL games. But for MLS and other soccer games, they hire completely different staff and the operations are handled by other companies entirely. So each event turns into a madhouse.

It's specially bad in California, Texas and the East Coast. Last I tried to attend an international friendly the Colombian fans rushed and completely overwhelmed the stadium. They were crawling through the air vents and basement to sneak in and it was a major incident.

>$1k tickets

suck my ass
>>
>>221690740
Yeah being an alcoholic here fucking sucks. Your best bet if you want to avoid DUIs and outrageous drink prices are to just drink at home. A fifth of vodka is cheaper than a single beer at most bars
>>
>>221690488
>>Even more retarded ticket prices
The excuse for this was unreal, it was the most FIFA answer imaginable. "Ticket prices are being adjusted to North American sensibilities"
>>
>>221691144
i dont think american police are prepared to football hooligans. this people kill family members over it and take over downtowns and streets.

The Stadium is reserved for Oil Sheikhs of the UAE and Qatar. Soccer is gay, the prices are gay.

>an automatic 20% gratuity to bills during the tournament.
what? this can't be real.
>>
>>221690078
why are they holding this in the US
people don't really care about soccer here
you know I was considering recently what age group each sport is most closely associated with (of players)
baseball I usually associate with people out of college, so 25-ish. Basketball with college, and football with high school. Hockey with middle schoolers and soccer with elementary school.
Pro soccer just isn't popular and never will be here since it has too much competition.

Infantino's wet dream has always been to crack open the richest market on earth. That's why football keeps getting *mericanized
>>
I saw them advertise this when I watched Wrestlemania, which was kinda funny. "Come see the beautiful game", trying to make it seem like some elegant high class thing when it's actually a bunch of drunk rioters. Also the ticket prices. I think this is happening with every industry. WWE has also been taken over by stock market lizards who are trying to squeeze everything out of the fan base, the tickets to wrestling events used to be way cheaper but now the front row seats are several thousand. Who the fuck is going to pay 10 thousand for a ticket to a football game? They're seriously expecting people to go into debt to come see an event
>>
>>221690078
Because foreign tourists are afraid that they will be stripped searched, arbitarily put into detention and deported for no reason if they step foot in the US. Also, they might get shot and then deported if they managed to get pass the airport. The US is viewed in the same way as South Africa or Myanmar in terms of safety and chances of getting imprisoned.
>>
>>221692187
why would a Finn watch WWE

Pro wrestling is fun every once in a while, I don't really care about real sports, but I like watching them have fake contests and shenanigans in front of a big live crowd
