I guess they try to make the dialogue sound snappy and casual, but it just sounds awful.What's sad is TES3 was legitimately solid and it used novel worldbuilding techniques that could only be done in a game... only to never be replicated again, not even by other Beth games. It's the only good one for a reason. I agree that indies could learn from it and improve on its ideas.
