The number of internet users seems to have skyrocketed in Indonesia starting in 2016, and in India in 2017, so I guess that explains why games like Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, and MLBB are huge over there. Still, weren't PC games like Dota 2 pretty popular at internet cafes even before that? Or was regular access to those cafes only really possible for people living in cities at least the size of Pekanbaru?
