India has had a problem with smog for decades. India has the worst air quality in the world, largely driven by particulate matter pollution. Annually, 1 to 2 million people die in India from air pollution. When Indians are not outside breathing in toxic ash from agricultural burns and inefficient cars, they are in their homes breathing in the soot and fungal spores from burning cow dung.

Children grow up permanently stunted, doomed to a short life of wheezing, lung and heart problems, and brain damage. Not only does India’s smog make their children into cripples, it makes them morons, too. Prolonged inhalation of fine particulate pollutants has been shown to cause decline in cognitive function, and lead to neuro-degenerative illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease.

The smog problem is so severe, it is amazing India even continues to function as a country. Aside from hamstringing their next generation with permanent lung and brain damage, India’s economy is stunted anywhere from $30 billion to $170 billion per year in lost economic productivity by smog. Crop yields in the worst affected parts of India have been reduced by 50%. Transportation and freight experience routine delays. Construction sites experience work stoppages. India’s supposedly “elite workforce of STEM geniuses” not only have diminished brains, but diminished educations. School closures are common in India during emergency smog hazard alerts.

Vivek Ramaswamy’s comments in 2024 have never gotten “unstuck from my craw.” Americans are stupid, lazy, and don’t have what it takes to succeed in STEM - and that is supposedly why Indians are being brought over in droves, to take those hard, well-paid engineering jobs that Americans are too stupid to do. At least, that’s the story being sold. I graduated summa cum laude in engineering, and it’s “more than a little aggravating” to be lectured about my work ethic by a Third World financial grifter stricken with delusions of grandeur.

The reality: Indians cannot come up with viable solutions to the most basic problems confronting their people. The smog problem has persisted for decades, and inflict horrendous harm on their whole nation, right before their eyes. India is replete with examples of this “paradox,” where a people touting themselves as premium human capital and “elite STEM knowledge workers” come from a country that is profoundly backward. What is especially remarkable about the smog issue, is that the problem overwhelmingly derives from lack of technology. Indians use primitive methods of agriculture and hearth-keeping, as tenaciously cling to superstitious, unsanitary bovine veneration practices. India’s aerosol pollution problem derives almost completely from failing to build an advanced technological economy, and refusing to abandon superstition in favor of the scientific method.

I ask you a straightforward question reader: Why should anyone believe that importing a people who cannot solve a basic problem staring in the face, will somehow solve the much more complex problems facing advanced economies in America and Europe?

To say India is “behind” is misleading. Indians engage in ritualistic practices that non-Indians wouldn’t have had the imagination to come up with, even in a distant, primitive past. In the 1970’s, neo-natal tetanus has been virtually eliminated in the developed world, but India stubbornly had an extremely high rate of these infections. Health experts were horrified when they discovered the cause: a common Indian “medical practice” was smearing cow dung on the umbilical cord stumps of newborn babies (Skaria et al. 2022). Bluntly, India is a nation of credulous peasants descended from slaves, ruled by criminals descended from witch doctors.

This is not the track record of science and technology innovators, who have proven they cannot solve problems that advanced Western countries solved decades or even centuries ago. As far as America and Europe go, the solution to our putative “human capital problem” is remigration and pivoting to the Chinese strategy of building and nurturing a cognitive autarky.

The more I’ve read into India, the more in shock I’ve become at “how badly” we’ve been had by these people. The default Indian mode of existence is thinking up scams and hustles to cheat people dumber than you, in order to pay bribe money to people stronger than you. Actually working hard for anything is held in contempt, since anyone who works in India is viewed as a sucker to be exploited. The way to get ahead is to work the system, find weaknesses, pay bribes, and acquire credentials with the least effort possible.

Such a mindset is completely incompatible with scientific advancement or anything resembling a search for truth, and I don’t buy a word from our tech elites that Indians are brought over as “elite human capital.” Things are much more simple and utilitarian: when your economy is based on production and manufacturing, you hire white guys, and when your economy is based on rent extraction and fraud, you hire Indians.

Air pollution is a major health hazard across the globe, and the problem is especially bad in North Africa, South Asia, and China. In America and Europe, air pollution is still a problem, but environmental reforms regulating the release of harmful pollutants from industrial plants and automobiles have greatly diminished the problem. America’s immense economy does not produce nearly the air pollution that far less developed economies do in North Africa and South Asia.

The gases released as air pollution do sometimes directly affect the health of humans. During the Lake Nyos disaster of 1986, 1.6 million tons of dissolved carbon dioxide suddenly erupted, smothering 1,746 Cameroonian villagers to death. On December 3, 1984, a poorly operated and unmaintained pesticide plant in Bhopal vented a death cloud of forty tons of methyl isocyanate, killing about 4,000 people and injuring about 600,000 (Broughton 2005). Mostly though, pollutant gases are environmental contaminants that lead to acid rain and other unpleasant effects on the weather.

The most dangerous form of air pollution is particulate matter, which are air suspensions of fine dust or liquid droplets.

At a diameter of 10 microns or less, fine particles are easily suspended due to the air’s drag force being much stronger than the Earth’s gravitational force. Fine particles are easily blown about by the wind, carried vast distances, and even circumnavigate the globe (CAICE 2020).

Aerosol particles can achieve altitudes of 3 to 6 kilometers on wind and thermal updrafts alone, and ash from volcanic ejections can reach beyond the stratosphere (Huang et al. 2024). In the previous paragraph, I mentioned gas phase pollutants. It should be noted, that a secondary effect of gaseous sulfate and nitrate pollutants, is that they can chemically react in the atmosphere to form solid aerosol particulate matter, which is then transported back down to earth by rainfall.

Aerosols can be generated as pollution from natural phenomena. Long stretches of dusty, high traffic road can whip up dust storms that are a significant inhalation hazard, and likewise for dust storms carried by strong winds in dry, desert regions (Calderón-Garcidueñas et al. 2022). Coastal regions with particularly restless seas can whip up fine droplets as sea sprays that are laden with pathogens, discharged sewage, and chemical contaminants. Humans can inhale the spray droplets directly, or inhale solid particles left over after the water evaporates from suspended micro-droplets. Heavily forested areas and grasslands are vulnerable to wildfires, which are another huge source of natural particulate matter air pollution.

The most spectacular sources of aerosol pollutants are volcanoes, which can release millions tons of ash. On June 15, 1991, the Philippine volcano Mount Pinatubo blew its top, blasting one cubic mile of volcanic ash into the upper atmosphere (Diggles 2005). Observe this incredible example from Volcan de Fuego in Guatemala on April 28, 2024. The immense amount of volcanic ash ejected from the volcano generated enough electrostatic potential to trigger a lightning strike on itself.

Anthropogenic sources of particulate matter generally come from two sources: toxic gases and ash from incomplete combustion. Toxic gases can react in the upper atmosphere and crystallize into fine particles. This problem is especially common with fertilizer aerosols, as ammonia eventually crystallizes into ammonium compounds.

In India, however, the most common sources of air pollution are incomplete combustion of fuels for home cooking, the burning of crop chaff, and the widespread use of poorly serviced, old diesel engines. The dominant contribution outdoors emanate from crop residue burning, power plant emissions, and automobile emissions. The dominant contribution indoors to aerosol pollutant poisoning is from the burning of poor-quality fuels for heating and cooking, especially dried cow dung cakes.

India has the worst air quality in the world, driven overwhelmingly by particulate matter aerosol pollution. It is estimated that 98.8% of Indians are routinely exposed to dangerous levels of aerosol pollution (Meo et al. 2024). Out of the top 30 worst-polluted cities in the world, 22 of them lie in India (Chandra et al. 2022). An astounding 18% of all deaths in India are caused by air pollution (SCMP 2024). On November 7, 2017, Delhi broke a record for bad air quality, hitting a PM2.5 concentration of 710 micrograms per cubic meter (Basu 2019). This was about equivalent to smoking fifty cigarettes in a single day, and Delhi’s chief minister compared the situation to being put in a gas chamber. About 1 to 2 million Indians die per year due to India’s smog problem.

Across India, the outdoor burning of crop residue waste and indoor burning of poor quality fuels in residential stoves exposes 1.4 billion people to a constant inhalation hazard. In northern and northwest India, the burning of agricultural crop residue casts a blanket of smog over 270,000 square miles, leading to school closures and poor visibility.

The air quality in northern India is especially terrible. During the post-monsoon season of about October 1 to November 30, farmers on the Indo-Gangetic Plain in Punjab and Haryana burn the chaff from their rice harvest (“rice stubble”). They burn the crop residue from their rice harvest to prepare the fields for the second crop, wheat.

This practice is known as “stubble burning,” and it has been outlawed in India for years. However, farmers routinely flout the law, since the cost of mechanical removal is far above what poor Punjabi farmers can afford. Government assistance has been provided, but it clearly is not nearly enough.

It is estimated that 500 million tons of crop residue are burned in the autumn and winter months (Basu 2019). The Himalayas directly to the north form a wind barrier, and the prevailing winds from the northwest to the southeast are typically sluggish. During the wintertime, the peculiar geography of the region can cause thermal inversions, where pollutant-rich cold air is trapped by a blanket of warm air at higher altitude. This leads to the worst smog problem in the world. The burning of crop residue, by corollary, burns about 2,000 metric tons of nitrogenous fertilizer (CEIC 2021). The burning of these substances generates the highest ammonia pollution on the globe, far worse than what is observed in China. Additionally, by the time the stubble burns in Punjab, 5,000 metric tons of pesticides have been sprayed on it (Bajwa 2024).

Fine particle pollution is especially bad in northern and eastern India, which has major health and economic ramifications. A big problem with India being blanketed by toxic smog, is that all that smog makes Indians dumber. Obviously, this undermines the case for importing them as elite knowledge workers. The quotation by Shaw et al. is probative:

>“…indoor air pollution was higher in India’s Northern and Eastern regions, and low cognitive scores were also observed in these regions. Traditional cooking practices such as solid biomass fuels like firewood, crop residue, cow dung, coal, etc., are more prevalent in the rural parts of northern and eastern India.”

The reader might think, “Well, maybe Indians have enough sense to not live where all the pollution is.”

Oops

The Indian government is fully aware of how bad the problem is, but is too greedy, corrupt, and non-reformable to do anything about it. Indians make do with digital air quality monitor alarms, using the government’s “Air Quality Index.” However, the monitors all use a “gamed” scale, that saturates at a meaningless score of “500”, and does not report the actual P2.5 concentration in sensible, widely-understood units (e.g. micrograms per cubic meter). The Indian government claims they added a limit to avoid people becoming panicked. Open source and international monitoring systems that remove this limit routinely show AQI scores of 1,000 or higher on especially bad smog days. Just like out of HBO’s “Chernobyl” miniseries, the Indian government made sure their “dosimeter” topped out at “3.6.”

If Chernobyl happened in India, one wonders how long it would take for Indians to figure it out. Having toxic ash fall from the sky wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for them. Source for monitor sub-image: BBC.

In India, one of the biggest sources of PM2.5 pollution is the burning of low-quality fuels for heating and cooking. An especially odious and prevalent kind of fuel is dried cow dung cakes. Dried cow manure is molded by hand into patties, which are then left to dry in the sun for about three days. After drying, these cakes are sold as a cooking fuel. Stoves are sometimes used, but sometimes the patties are simply piled up and ignited. Then, hard root vegetables like potatoes are left to cook in the hot coals.

These patties are even burnt by Indians as a form of incense, even by people who have access to gas stoves in their homes. I’ll let one of these “science and coding geniuses” explain in this video, where he claims burning cow dung cake increases the amount of oxygen in the room and repels mosquitoes. Combustion would actually deplete the oxygen content in the room. If the smoke really does repel mosquitoes, it’s only because the mosquitoes have more common sense than Indians.

Dried dung cake is a common fuel in rural India, and most Indians live in rural areas. The burning of cow dung, firewood, and crop chaff for cooking and heating is widespread in India, and this practice is the single biggest contributor to the country’s poor air quality.

It is a recurring theme in India, that the line between “ritual” and “medicine” has been pooped on. India’s cultural attachment to cows and their dung has repeatedly triggered major health crises in the country. In 2021, India experienced an unprecedented outbreak of about 53,000 cases of Mucorales, or “black fungus” lung infections (Pasquier 2023).

The fungi Mucorales feeds on, among other things, the dung of herbivores, and India has by far the biggest global stock of about 300 million head of cattle. About 4,300 people died from fungal infection after inhaling smoke from burning cow dung in large “fumigation rituals.”

Black fungus is a rare lung infection, but it is extremely deadly. The mortality rate is 54%. By comparison, a deadly tick-borne virus endemic to North America, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, has only about 30% mortality (Snowden and Simonsen 2025). The only other country to experience a surge of Mucorales in the same time frame was Iran, where quack faith healers were doing similar theatrics, but with burning donkey dung.

It is worth noting, that the Indian state of Kerala has the most liberal cow laws in India. The slaughter and eating of beef is not controversial, and cows and their dung are not venerated. As such, Kerala had virtually no infections of Mucorales, when multiple neighboring and distant states had thousands of cases.

India’s immense population itself can have warping effects around the holidays that go unobserved in other countries. Aside from burning dung cakes and burning crop residue, fireworks during the festival of Diwali are an additional huge source of aerosol pollution. Firework smoke has never been an issue in my life during the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve in America - but in a country of 1.4 billion people, if everyone decides to light a few fireworks during the evening, everyone is going to be inhaling about 900 micrograms per cubic meter of firework soot (Govardhan 2023).

The constant smog problems in India are a huge economic burden on the country. Costly damage is inflicted every year on India by the smog, in the form of transportation and freight delays, lost retail foot traffic, higher healthcare costs, unnecessary overtime, worker deaths, worker absenteeism, construction work stoppages, livestock deaths, and reduced crop yields (Singh et al. 2023). Estimates of economic damage from India’s air pollution vary from 3% to 6% of GDP, or anywhere from $30 billion to $170 billion per year (Behrer et al. 2023, SCMP 2024, Khanna 2025). India lost 3.8 billion working days in 2019 due to health problems caused by air pollution (SCMP 2024).

In 2017, a cricket match between Sri Lanka and India in Delhi was disrupted by smog impacting the health of the players (Safi 2017). Several times during the match, Sri Lankan players began vomiting uncontrollably due to how befouled the air was. The players also repeatedly stopped the game to head to their locker room and have their breathing assisted with oxygen cylinders. The cynical conspiracy theorist in me wonders if India is permitting the smog problem solely to get a national edge for themselves in cricket. To quote Safi 2017:

>The acting president of India’s cricket board was also unimpressed and said he would write to his Sri Lankan counterpart about the incident.

>“If 20,000 people in the stands did not have problems and the Indian team did not face any issue, I wonder why the Sri Lankan team made a big fuss

During major smog events in big cities, such as Delhi, visibility drops to zero (Yadav 2025). Trains have to be rerouted or stopped, schools and businesses are closed, and airplanes cannot land unless they are CAT-3 compliant. The huge smog problem has reduced sunlight over India by 13%. Cloud cover has further reduced sunlight by 44%, though it is almost certainly the case that the release of aerosol contaminants is leading to increased cloud formation, and counter-intuitively, less rain and worsened droughts. In the most polluted regions of India, the smog has reduced crop yields by 50% (Biswas 2025). This has a direct effect on trade in the country, as India is the world’s biggest exporter of rice (Govardhan et al. 2023).

India has already invested in 100 GW of solar energy production, and seeks to expand to 500 GW by 2025. If aerosol pollution were eliminated, 6 to 28 additional terawatt-hours electricity could be harvested from the sun’s rays, amounting to about $300 to $850 million per year. If the smog problem is not dealt with quickly, billions of dollars in investment will be wiped out, simply because there will not be enough sunlight to make solar power viable in India.

Particulate matter is a dangerous pollutant, but the danger depends heavily on size. Above 200 microns in size, the human body’s natural respiratory defenses (e.g. nose hair, airway cilia hairs) can block or trap inhaled particles and prevent deeper entry into the lungs. However, particulate matter of size 10 microns (PM10) and 2.5 microns (PM2.5) are hazardous, especially PM2.5. PM2.5 aerosols can bypass the body’s natural structural defenses, reach the lung alveoli, and directly enter the bloodstream. The potential health effects worsen yet further for particles of size 0.1 microns or less (PM0.1), and PM0.1 particles can directly reach the brain by entry through the olfactory sensors. Further discussion of the hazards of nano-sized particles is beyond the scope of this post.

The physical and chemical mechanism of disease caused by particulate matter inhalation is multi-faceted. Aerosol particles commonly contain transition metals, such as iron, nickel, copper, and zinc, as well as polyaromatic hydrocarbons. These substances catalyze the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), the buildup of which leads to cell damage and eventually death. Transition metals in the aerosol soot of burning cow dung were identified as the dominant contributor to antioxidant depletion in a mock experimental lung (Mudway et al. 2005). Additionally, cow manure is full of Gram-negative bacteria, which by corollary, means cow manure particles will be contaminated with toxic lipopolysaccharides (Xing et al. 2016).

Aerosol pollution is also implicated in depression, sleep problems, and cognitive decline (Shaw et al. 2024). The meta-analysis of 21 different studies by Meo et al. 2024 concluded there was significant evidence that PM2.5 exposure leads to decrease in “global cognitive ability,” estimated using a weighted average of several different IQ tests. Neuro-degenerative diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s are also correlated with long-term PM2.5 exposure (Singh et al. 2023, Chandra et al. 2022).

This is particularly damaging to the claim that Indian intelligence is remarkable compared to that of Westerners, when enormous amounts of toxic air pollution are actively making India’s schoolchildren dumber. In addition to making schoolchildren dumber, it prevents them from being “schoolchildren” to begin with - school closures due to fog alerts are common in India (Singh et al. 2023, Times of India 2025). Both short-term and long-term exposure to PM2.5 aerosol pollution has been shown to reduce cognitive functioning in people of all ages (Calderón-Garcidueñas et al. 2022). The following abridged quotation from Meo et al. 2024 is exemplary:

>Prenatal and postnatal exposure to pollutants like PM2.5 can potentially lead to neuro-developmental disorders and cognitive deficits in children […] such as diminished intelligence levels and impairments in cognitive and psychomotor development and behavioral changes. Chronic exposure to pollutants has also been shown to affect adults as it accelerates cognitive decline and increases the risk of developing dementia or neuro-degenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.”

>Cognitive damage to children occurs even while still in the womb. One neuro-imaging study showed reduction in brain volume in children whose mothers had been exposed to PM2.5 pollution (Chandra et al. 2022). Exposure to PM2.5 to children during their brain’s formative years is reported to cause lowered intelligence (Meo et al. 2024). A study in older women who suffered prolonged exposure to PM2.5 pollution showed a reduction in brain white matter volume. Pregnant women and their unborn children are also hurt by constant inhalation of aerosol pollution.

SUMMARY:

-India has a track record of being unable to solve its most basic civilizational problems, and a huge swath of its 1.4 billion citizens are hopelessly benighted in superstition.

-I am suspicious that the Indian elite are deliberately permitting air pollution to exterminate millions of their own people. The Indian elite fears they will lose control of their country’s immense population at the rate it would naturally grow.

-Particulate matter pollution is mercilessly killing Indians by the millions, and the Indian government and Indian people couldn’t give less of a damn.

-India is subsumed not only by the dark miasma of superstition, but subsumed by the dark miasma of industrial emissions, agricultural chaff burning, and the inhalation of burning cow dung in their homes.

-The Indian veneration of cows is killing and stunting their people. The citizens of Kerala can ascribe the comparative wealth and better health of their state to discarding the witchcraft of ayurvedic medicine and other backward cultural practices.

-This state of affairs cast serious doubt on the claims made by Indian labor apologists in Silicon Valley and the news media, when a nation of supposed “elite technology workers” is unable to remedy repeated, persistent, deadly smog clouds descending on their national capital.

Nonetheless, the numbers speak for themselves: the H-1B visa program is a pipeline for getting military-age Indian males as far away from India as possible.
I don’t believe our elites “don’t know about this.” In a future post, I will explain my theory about “the real utility” of the H-1B visa program: getting as many young men out of India as possible so they couldn’t join the Naxalite Uprising of 2004. I believe the mass exporting of Indian males to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Canada, and America was actually a counter-insurgency scheme. A Maoist India could mean an India friendly with China. An Asia occupied by a China and India friendly to each other, is not an Asia that is good for America.

That’s all for now. Thank you, esteemed readers.

I don't mean to relate everything back to the jews but this is exhibit A in how Israeli propaganda works.
If you want to lie to someone, you don't walk up to them and tell them that it's true. You let them "discover" it because someone else is saying something unreasonable and it doesn't seem right to you the intellect.

>Hamas sets up military bases right next to civilian infrastructure and then says that the IDF is killing civilians? And they call themselves the religion of peace? Well, that's just outrageous

It's not "human shields". It's a huge amount of people crammed like sardines in one of the most densely populated places on the planet and they call half the civilians Hamas anyway.

"Iran poisoned thousands of schoolgirls" is an even more retarded lie than Hamas beheading and deepfrying 40 babies, yet there are actual golems who believe this slop.

I saw in 2016 in my own high school class when every girl didn't show up to class next day because Hillary lost and Trump won lmao And some of them got hospitalized with symptoms of poisoning without any actual poisoning happening. Why? Because they all got panic attacks, sudden depression, etc due to sensationalized bullshit media & social media slop that Trump is out to get them, Trump is going to oppress all women, etc. Same thing happened in the case of the schoolgirls in Iran. Young, impressionable girls got spooked by sensationalized bullshit pumped out daily in Instagram, manoto, Iran international, etc, so many started mass panicking thinking the government is out to get them. This, and the other case with the US, is a textbook definition of mass hysteria.

Third Worldism isn't righteous and noble people fighting for their race, land and God as the people of Palestine, Iran and Lebanon do. Real third worldism is what you see in Paraguay, Spanish-speaking Judeo-Americanism. It's a Latin Ameican nation led by tacky spi-cks who build political careers exporting cocaine for the CIA, vacation with their plastic surgery addicted wives in Miami and wear designer clothing while their people starve. They loot and privatize the economies of their country and take direct orders from the American embassy/Washington to keep 95% of the wealth in the hands of 5% of the population.
