The bald one eventually dies and then the one in that picture has everything taken away and takes its place as another Marisa is brought in to take it easy in front of it.

It would certainly make for an interesting dynamic with law enforcement and Yukkuriverse society as a whole since there was technically no crime committed to warrant such a response. Imagine that guy surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues who all consider the killer to be a deranged psychopath for doing this to innocent people who are only guilty of littering at worst, while he has to constantly fight the urge to scream at them that they are wrong so he doesn't raise suspicion as possibly being the killer with such an emotional outburst. He finds it mentally and emotionally draining, feeling like the only sane person in an unhinged world, but he has to continue bottling it up if he wants to keep fighting for these defenseless critters.

Unfortunately for abusers, there is only so much Yukkuri abuse that he can turn a blind eye to in the name of his greater good before he snaps, and that's when a horribly mutilated human corpse appears somewhere in the city. He always leaves something behind to let the authorities know that this was a killing on behalf of Yukkuri, just so there is no misunderstanding about the motive. He wants them, along with everyone who sees the news of the killing to know exactly why this happened, and that it is going to keep happening until something is done to stop widespread Yukkuri abuse. This is likely to be a prolonged war for him, however. Greater society does not understand this motive, nor are they willing to compromise with someone who they believe to be a homicidal maniac, so he has no choice but to continue his one man crusade until society changes or he is finally caught.
>>
>>49969597
How come it's the abuse artists who draw the most adorable Yukkuri scenes?

Thanks for the reply. I feel like the guy in your post. Except at least irl there are people who aren't retarded freaks and feel the same way I do about the abuse. I don't know how exactly to make this story, if I even should. But it might be worth it. A bit of video editing and cloning Dexter Morgan actor's voice perhaps.
For the story, he gets to a point where he strikes utter fear and pain into abusers. Making them feel the same way the yukkuris feel. Yukkuris being happy someone cares about them.
>>
>>49973799
> Except at least irl there are people who aren't retarded freaks and feel the same way I do about the abuse.
Oh, for sure. I was just basing it on Yukkuri setting logic where it seems like Yukkuri abusers are just seen as people with weird hobbies at worst. In real life there would be Yukkuri rights advocates even if science was able to definitely prove that Yukkuri were not living things. Humans tend to have a habit of bonding with inanimate objects as it is, and it would be very easy for these objects to garner sympathy if they are able to even just mimic human speech, and especially if they are cute too.

One example I have used in a past thread is a clip that went around on Twitter some time ago of some streamer pushing and kicking a robot he bought and there were a bunch of people in the comments mad at him for doing it despite the act being functionally no different than kicking a fridge or washing machine. Hell, even the Boston Dynamics people pushing the robots around to test their balancing capabilities seem to make some people mad. All these machines needed to have was a human shape and that was enough for some people to want to stand up for them.

A newly abandoned pet Yukkuri is likely to do that. Yukkuri do not learn often but one thing they do seem to learn after a mistake or two is to not spoil their children or they will develop habits that lead a horrible mutilation or death, and that is if they don't drag their parents down with them.

I find things like Yukkuri of Touhou or the Fluffy Ponys that came out of the MLP fandom is how in those worlds humans are basically cthulhu like gods. Our far greater abilities make us like gods to them. Some humans are cruel or kind.
>>
>>49996136
"You expose yourself by how you play the game."
>>
>>49996136
That's a fun way to put it. To humans, the old gods are incomprehensible and often cruel, just as humans are to Yukkuri. They don't understand why humans do as they do, and they never will. Whether or not the human ignores them, simply crushes them and moves on, or inflicts unimaginable horrors on them depends entirely on their mood, and there are particularly sadistic ones among them who actively seek to inflict those horrors upon them. Much like with humans, there are some Yukkuri foolish enough to think they could command one or fight one and win but they never even come close, and are only rewarded with death for their audacity. All they can hope for is to not be noticed by one, because once they are noticed there is little they can do to prevent it from doing whatever it wants with it.

From the human's point of view Yukkuri are just silly little critters at best and pests to be exterminated at worst, but even the kindest among them would never consider one to be anything remotely close to an equal, and would even place the life of an animal well above that of a Yukkuri's. That is probably how the old gods view humanity too. A form of life too low to be considered life.

If we compare it to something in real life, how deeply are you willing to clean a donut that has been on the ground for god knows how long? There is surely a point where you are better off just tossing it and buying a fresh one to eat, which in this case would be buying food grade Yukkuri at the store.

It does make me wonder if a Yukkuri tastes any different from a regular snack. I know one of the perks is that you can adjust the sweetness yourself but would it taste any better than an equivalent snack outside of that? I also wonder if they are also cheaper on account of being easier and faster to make.
>>
>>50026969
Maybe something about their biology would make them easier to clean than regular manju.
>>
>>
>>50027199
They seem to melt in regular water but they don't in orange juice, and possibly even any other kind of sweetened liquid, so I guess it would be possible to wash one without destroying it unlike a regular donut. Might even give one a bit of a citrus flavor too if you're into that. That said, visible cleanliness aside, there is also the issue of the kind of diet strays have. While Yukkuri seem to be able to digest anything, you would still have to be comfortable with eating something that has been eating nothing but worms, insects, and literal garbage. Those things might get perfectly digested once it goes down but they surely still have residue from those things in their mouths.

>>
>>50033348
>I think I'll just headcanon all yukkuri abuse as yukkuris enjoying it.
I would argue that getting eaten and getting mutilated are two different things. The mutilation is more a waste of food since they are not typically eaten after everything is done.
>>
>>50033348
Yukkuris are too dumb to realize they're made of food and keep obsessing about "taking it easy".
>>
>>50033348
How would you define "A food item made to be eaten"? All animals that we eat could be considered such, and they do not like to get eaten.
>>
>>50037258
Processed food item.
>>
>>50037258
>>50037484
That idea is where the disconnect about Yukkuri not being considered to be living things stems. It's true that despite being edible, animals don't want to be eaten. The same should be considered true of Yukkuri but since they are made of unconventional matter, which is to say anything other than flesh and bone, they aren't considered as such despite their own protests.

>I wonder, what would the average mentally healthy person do when confronted with such a creature in real life?
Worst place to ask that. Imo people would think they're cute after being creeped out at first.
>>50045377
>if you remove the anime cuteness filter
But that defeats the point. It's like if Ran were real and she didn't have her trademark tails.

It does make me what they would look like in real life. Like would it be immediately apparent that they are made out of sugar and flour or is that something you would only be able to tell if you cut them open?
>>
>>50048748
Maybe by touch or smell someone would know. Especially if they bake or cook a lot. Anyway, I have an urge to give Yukkuris marijuana. They'll really take it easy.

I want a story about this. A story about humans from the perspective of yukkuri, wild or pet, on their perspectives on our cities, culture, etc.
>>
>>50050147
I used to care about the "Fluffy Pony" sub fandom and my favorite stories explored the idea of how the Fluffy Ponys lived in a world they weren't created to live in.

Yukkuri are similar. Living food stuffs that can talk and have to live around much larger and more capable humans who they don't understand.
>>
A dosu yukkuri finds a picture book about a human child's typical day at school and she decides to hold a lecture. She believes it will greatly help the yukkuri community to flip through said book. Even though she cannot read, the pictures will suffice. She begins to talk.

"This Mister Explosive is being very uneasy and yelling and threatening to kill everyone. The human koyukkuri immediately defuses it and saves his village, all before getting out of bed. You should know humans have strange powers like this. "

"Now the human is going to clean his teeth. Unlike yukkuri, human teeth do get dirty, so they have to clean it. Humans pay this price because they do not like talking like cute babies. They do not say 'Take it easy!'. They do not say 'Munch Munch Happiness!'. They do not say 'Refreshed!' and even get angry when we do. So they clean their teeth."

"The human ko puts on Mister Clothes. Even though it is very luxurious and easy to wear clothes, there is a human story about the first two humans, Adam and Eve, who made everyone very uneasy by showing off their superior fashion sense. To this day, if you are lucky enough to wear Mister Clothes, remember to be nice and take it easy."

"Now he goes to the food-room to eat Mister Breakfast. He is eating lots of Mister Vegetables just like us! Even humans cannot eat sweet-sweets for breakfast. All the stories about humans eating pan-cakes, muffin cupcakes, unfrozen yogurt, pop-tart pies, and bagel donuts are lies."

"The human ko meets up with other human kos to walk to school together. It seems they are wearing the same Mister Clothes. Like I said, a ko cannot be different and wear fancy clothes. This is so everyone can take it easy. And here, a human adult tells Mister Car to stop so the kos can cross the road safely. So easy! Remember that human adults will not do the same for you, so only cross behind other humans."

"School is where humans learn about lots of things, the same way you are learning right now. Here you can see many human kos going into the school. There, they don't have to worry about a very uneasy Mister Sun in the summer, or Mister Rain in the spring and autumn. But humans do not have to worry about being eaten the way we do."

"Here all the human kos are sitting together in squares. The room is a square, the small tables are squares, there are squares on the wall, on each table is a square book. There are no squares in the forest where we are, but humans love to have lots of squares everywhere."

The dosu yukkuri pulls out a banknote.

"Humans love to receive these squares. They are called money. It is said humans will make themselves very uneasy working very hard for these squares. If you want to make a human happy, do not give them food! While other yukkuri will be happy to get your Mister Worm or Mister Weeds, they make human angry. Give money to humans."
>>
"There is a human teacher who is making her own picture book on the wall for the kos to learn from. The kos copy this picture book into their own square books. Humans are not as nice and easy as we are and do not like to share. That is why they need so many copies and why they work so hard."

"Now it is time for Mister Lunch. It looks just like Mister Breakfast, but the food is in a square box. Also, now instead of a human family, the kos are eating together. They are saying their Munch Munch Happiness to each other and taking it easy."

"After lunch, there is more time to copy picture books. Is it surprising how unhappy and uneasy human kos are, having to work so hard every day? They work as hard as adult yukkuri do to do hunt-hunt. I have heard it is to prepare these kos for adult work."

The dosu lowers her voice.

"I have heard adult humans work in the factory, or in places like the factory. Can you imagine? A human that willingly goes to the factory, a place worse than death, for these squares they call money. They could just not go, they could just take it easy, but they do not, and no yukkuri knows why."

The dosu straightens.

"But we are almost done with the book! Here the human ko is walking back home with his friends. He is doing some more work with his square book, even though there is nothing to copy. And now he is having Mister Dinner! Yu? It looks the same as Mister Breakfast and Mister Lunch. Where are the sweet-sweets...?"

"Anyway, now is time for Mister Bath. Humans do not melt, so they can take it extra easy in a bath. They also do not do lick-lick, so bath time is extra important for them to get clean. They even have to clean their teeth again."

"And the human ko is finally in Mister Bed. Humans are scared of the dark, just like yukkuri. They have this strange box that makes Mister Light, which you can also find everywhere outside the human city. However, it seems they do not understand that you are safe when you are in Mister Home and that you do not need light when you sleep, so that is why there is a Mister Light box there."

The dosu shuts the book.

"I hope you have learned a lot about humans from this lecture. Someday, if a Patchouli yukkuri joins our village, we may get a most expert opinion on how to deal with these strange creatures. But for now, let us all, like the humans, also go home, and eat our dinners, and do clean-clean, and go to bed, but unlike the humans, let us all!"

They all shout.

"Take it easy!"

Dumbass Yukkuris never learn that humans don't see them as cute at all and just treat them as moving garbage.
