I read moege from time to time, but seeing this type of braindead subhuman posts >>49961172 makes me wish for total moebuta death at this point
>>49962677Not that guy but I dropped Amatsutsumi pretty early on because of the premise. There was no reason to give him a fiancee at the start.
>>49962800Good, you don't deserve the game.
>>49962800I was going to read it soon. Does MC really fuck all characters in the common route? If you're going to do that make a harem ending.
A couple of threads ago someone mentioned Gakuen Handsome and that made me realize I've never played Gakuen Madonna.Went through it last night and it's really good! I burst out laughing a bunch of times. Especially considering it's an hour long and freeware it's an easy recommend from me.
>>49962963its garbage anyway, i'll read something good like BST instead
>>49963354If you actually are, enjoy.
>>49963037>Does MC really fuck all characters in the common route? He fucks 3/4 of them IIRC>If you're going to do that make a harem ending.I mean that's heavily implied in the true route's ending
>>49963037Yeah, the problem is that, as the other anon said he was engaged to one of the heroines before the story start so that heroine gets cucked by everyone else and there is no way to avoid it
>>49963637>impliedSounds like they pussied out
>https://vndb.org/v18142does anyone have a link for this please? cant find it anywhere
>>49964631It's on touchgal
>>49964661thank you very much anon
>>49963354setoguchi falls off so hard long time after consumption. carnival and musicus are legitimately good because they feel like sincere attempts and the rest are just nihilistic or tranny stuff
>>49965015>carnival and musicus are legitimately good なに言ってんのこの人wwwww
>>49965015Sorry, but if you're just going to cry about trannies out of nowhere like a teenager then your opinion doesn't matter.

Read Ooe recently. If you have any interest in mystery VNs and aren't put off by BL, it's well worth it, it's an excellent read. Very clearly inspired by And Then There Were None, classic trapped-on-an-island-with-10-guys-and-people-start-dying with a huge number of routes all varying it up in interesting ways, including a route where they decide to just play card games instead of solving the mystery and it turns into Kaiji or a route where it becomes schizo denpa horror. Excellent visuals, incredible soundtrack, every character is interesting and well-written, the mysteries are all reasonably tough to solve without being unfair, I genuinely can't think of any serious flaws. I even tried to write out a ranking of the LIs but I couldn't bring myself to because I liked every character so much that I didn't want to have to rank anyone at the bottom. One of the best VNs I've read in a long, long time, I understand why it was so highly rated. If you can stand BL, you should give it a shot (and also the h-scenes are usually pretty weird, they very rarely show penetration directly and are pretty short and with odd CG angles and are mostly internal monologue. Maybe that's what women like?).
>>49965015Didn't give a fuck about musicus' themes at all. It's such a boring VN.
>>49965292it's not about the themes. it's about the feeling it gives you of witnessing a great person's suicide and then living a full life. it genuinely makes you feel like you've lived past all those events. he utilizes many writing tics to succeed at this. desu, if you don't personally relate to the content, it's the sort of thing you get bored while reading and then towards the end you find yourself not wanting it to end
>>49965300>great person'He was a retard
>>49965241how's the mystery/drama ratio if umineko is 80-20 and ever17 is 70-30?
>>49965300Idk can't relate. I was glad when it ended. Just making me live through the life of MC isn't enough to make me care about shit. The characters were good but I'm not sure it does anything interesting with them. Sumi's route felt like it tried to do something interesting but then the writing quality becomes retarded. The other ends play it too safe disney tier. Didn't feel the meaning of life.
>>49965361It varies wildly depending on the route. Some are mystery heavy, some are pure drama and have little mystery, some are just comedy/gag routes.
>>49965365can I just do the drama routes? which ones do you recommend. advice appreciated, thanks
>>49965368I just realized I didn't make it clear in my post. It's a completely linear game. You clear a route, and then on replay it unlocks a new choice that leads to the next route. Repeat nine times. Each route focuses on a different character (not always romantically) and explains a little bit more of the overall mystery.
>>49965368The first three are the least gay and most mystery/plot-heavy, then they alternate between less plot + more gay and more plot/mystery after that. You won't get the full mystery explained until the last few routes though.
>>49965429>The first three are the least gayAriake's is pretty damn gay.
>>49965378>>49965429alright, i may try this, if this fujoshit is praised even here the mystery should be compelling, but what's the general ratio for mystery/drama I can expect from this VN?
>>49965443I'd say it's mostly mystery with some drama. But again, it depends pretty heavily on the route, some are very mystery-focused and some are very drama-focused. Overall I'd say more similar to Ever17 than Umineko, but with much less SOL than Ever17.
>>49954950jousou sennen oukoku
There's no way ooe can be as kami as people are hyping it to be...
>>49965469That's what I thought, and that's why I read it. It's not like legendary super-duper life-changing ultra-kamige, but as far as VNs go it's very strong and it's one of the best VNs I've read in a long while.
>>49965469There's one way to find out
>>49965447thanks anon, you sold me
while we're talking about mystery i'm kind of frustrated by how remember11 is claimed more by backloggd peopel who like stuff like the silver case or xenogears than vinnie players nowadays
>>49965484You should not care more about a VN's fanbase than its contents.
>>49965484what the hell are "backloggd peopel"
So they saw that nobody liked the yuri chapter in subahibi and then decided "ok, let's make an entire chapter where a rug muncher is the main focus"? Why?
>>49965500I'm nobody by the way
>>49965457assets have 4:3 ratio, so no 16:9 for you
>>49965501Everybody is nobody.
>>49965502yea i know. just found it interesting it was being advertised like that is all.
>>49965500Zypressen's pretty good.
>>49965500Scaji wants to be a girl (with a dick) so he self-inserts in yuri.
>>49965521i like scaji but all normal seeming scaji fans on xitter i observe eventually put weird pronoun shit into their bios. was our gender a part of our language all along?
>>49965506it's probably being advertised like that because the other vns in the collection might be 16:9
>>49965508>I'm nobody by the way
Tanishi should make a nukige i think.
>>49965530the most charming character in this vn was kei. he really should have had a route. which is a shame because subahibi had zakuro and kimika at least.
>>49965537>. he really should have had a route. He did?
very organic sakuuta discussion itt
>>49965546You caught me anon. Sca-di said if I shilled his VN he'd hook my self-insert up with Nagayama in Sakuoto.
>>49965546You just made me realise that I can't see more than half of the thread. I don't have filters enabled. What the hell. You're the 3rd post in the thread for me.
What would you like us to talk about instead?
>>49965572We could talk about loli, you know, reminisce about the good old days when they used to get made.
>>49965586Ok, speaking of loli, why does my copy of tsushinbo suddenly have garbled text? I've tried to fix it like 6 different ways to no avail.
>>49965611locale issue?
>>49965586This chart is stupid, kids have butts. If it's flat it's just flat.
>>49965586>We could talk about loliSure.
Japanese reviews feel pretty useless compared to what any anon here has to say. There's no criticism, nothing really moving, no incredulous insight or the transformation of the content in a story to infinitely more what it really is. Everything feels tremendously fake and gay, with an atmosphere forcing smiles and happiness along. Moreover, if somehow 1 person breaks the mold, he's confronted with numerous comments telling him 'to go away' or that 'he's the issue'. Why? Most heinous are those opening with 'X made me feel uncomfortable, so I don't like it'. Isn't the entire point of the story to incite such emotion...?Well, the fault's in me for bothering to read em. Figure they'd be some variant Eastern counterpart of the deranged who proudly proclaim this or that eroge 'split my life in twine, rent my psychology asunder, and led me to the pavilion of heaven' , but I guess not. They're not many differing interpretations as well. Shame all this's 4chan exclusive.
>>49966125it's just part of the japanese desire for cohesion and conformity. if someone dares to speak their mind or go against the mold they are swiftly eaten alive.
>>49966125Reminds me that japanese games reviews are cratered when steam introduced language specific review score.
>>49966125>Japanese reviews>commentsI assume you mean on steam? jap reviews on DMM are usually pretty rough.Although for some reason they always dick suck the devs on dlsite unless the game is utter shit, its always near perfect score. Probably because you used to get points back if you review/score the game
>>49965586Sex all nine variants.Yes, including in the butt.
>>49966125you probably only read steam reviews
>>49966125Japanese reviews work much better than useless posts by subhuman faggots like >>49961172.Besides, you can never tell who can actually read Japanese in this thread and who is just supposed to use MTL. Japanese reviews are written by Japanese people who can actually read the language 100%, so they deserve much more trust than the average anon here.
>>49966708But still, I trust (you) more than any Japanese guy....
>>49966858Anon...
>>49966858Then go read Hasshaku.
>>49966708that poster is better than any japanese review
>>49965537Kei doesn’t need a standard heroine route, because in the end the entire plot of Sakurano comes down to how much Naoya and Kei are obsessed with each other. It’s kind of funny how Sca-ji always desperately tries to shoehorn yuri into his works and fails miserably, yet somehow managed to create one of the gayest relationships in the medium
>>49966401I saw a blog post a couple of years ago about how DLsite doesn't publish reviews that are overly negative. And you do get 50 yen per review (more under certain conditions) so reviewers stay mostly positive.
>>49966708Why are you so obsessed with that guy?
>>49966125Just read people's blogs instead of steam/or whatever shop reviews.
>>49967814His opinion was bad enough, so anon is living inside of my head rent-free now
>>49967952he was right though
>>49965551she was cuter with longer hair and oto neverdespite sakurako being promised to me 10 yearsago
>>49966401>its always near perfect scoreThats the same for books too. It's almost always between 4.4 to 5 instead of the whole range. Only books that won an award of some kind get bad reviews and most of them are just salty fags mad that the book they like more didnt win
does anyone hate that trope where something bad happens and then they have sex to comfort each other?
>>49970371I love that actually
>>49970371>cuckshit/rape>please rewrite my bodyDunno know who this appeals to.
>>49970480i like the rewriting thing but they should take some time to process the trauma + solve the issue. then sex is the reward.>>49970375it ruined biman4 for me. lacks romanticism. it depicts sex as the reward and not as a journey
Where do you buy your package eroge? I used to just use amazon but they made it really hard to order with them.
>>49971308I walk to that one eroge store about 15 minutes from where I live. Afterwards I walk for a minute or two and stop by that one pancake store too. Gonna be real with you, savory pancakes are much better than sweet ones.
I am enjoying my transformation into moebuta. No more worries. No more cares. Just turn my brain off and float along like a piece of fluff on the wind.
Sniper wife.
Reading KKK, should i read 最後之修羅 right after it unlocks or wait after i finish the whole thing/after i finish one route
>>49972433You can read it right away if you want
>>49966125>Shame all this's 4chan exclusiveJust pirate the reviews that's posted here and repost it on VNDB.
>Still no bugbugDo I have to buy it myself... Are eroge mag rippers really this dead?
>>49973146Usually gets uploaded around the 9th.
>>49973146I'll buy this months if you get the last one.Scout's honor
>>49973209>>49973281I see, I'll wait until then and just buy it next week-end if nothing is uploaded
elf fans: 1) is ningen debris worth playing2) does playing the first title for kawarazaki-ke no ichizoku improve the second or are they mostly separate?
Can somebody please enlighten me why it was the pink girl in 蠱惑の刻 that was chosen for the most fucked up shit? And is it true that none of it actually happens and is just a dream?
Is machine child any good?
>>49975066what's the point of cunny if it's all-ages
>>49972338I prefer my racist nun wife.
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien readers, I have a question for you guys. Why is it that they make such a big deal out of Mitsuki lying about why she quit swimming? In Mitsuki’s route, Akane reveals it as if it was a big deal, and in Akane’s route, it leads to him basically wanting to break up with her. Shinji also seems to think it was a big deal in their convo in Takayuki’s apartment. Is this just a Japanese culture thing or am I missing something? Who cares if she was lying about why she quit swimming? She still was with Takayuki that entire time. Shouldn’t that be enough?
>>49975076all ages can be fappable too you know
>>49975089Not at the fandisc yet. Is it worthwhile?
>>49975272I think it's great, even better than the original. It's basically just a new Unica route that's really, really good. If you like Unica, or like cool cybervampire chuuni action, absolutely read it.
>>49975278Thanks, good to know.
>>49974369>2) does playing the first title for kawarazaki-ke no ichizoku improve the second or are they mostly separate? They are completely separate. I don't there is a single reference to the first one in the seconde one.
>>49975066>>49975238Some of the outfits are fappable and some kind of show nipples and cameltoe but I haven't got any lewd story outcomes yet if they exist. Story and loli-raising have been cute but it made me want an adult version...
Fuck Suumi. Fuck Alice. Fuck their mothers, their father. Fuck the whole monobeno. Fuck the developers. Fuck their families, their whole fucking clan. Fuck you all. Someday, I'll murder you for what you did to natsuha and making me play the shitty shit alice and sumi routes. Fuck you
>>49975912Sumi route was the best.Well, her after route in Happy End.
>>49975917who gives a shit, don't force me to choose a girl, I don't like and then make a cuck scene with her. Gore screaming show did the same thing forcing me to play through every tier 3 girl to get to my tier 0 forbidden ultimate will marry for life waifu . Everytime fucking time, I have to bear the mc shitting on the feelings of best girl. I'll never forgive the japanese.
I just noticed that newer qruppo games like Nukitashi Remaster and henpri (haven't played it yet) don't have publicly accessible updates. Does anyone know if it's possible to archive the updates?
>>49976101>Nukitashi Remasterwhat was changed?
>>49976236You can look at the websitehttps://qruppo.com/products/nukitashi2/special/remaster/Not many new features. But AFAIK the engine is changed. shinario was jank AF so it should be less buggy.
>>49976101I redownloaded nukitashi 1/2 pack recently just to have it in my VN archive collection and the first time you launch it, game tells you that there are updates available and updates itself. Pretty sure it even auto downloaded Susuko append. So you don't need to search for anything.
>>49976236shinario -> artemis port >>49976101you can try and trace which url auto updater is trying to access when you launch game, so you can try and grab update files if that's what you want to probably easier to just store updated game somewhere
>>49976101>>49976427>>49976438Just diff the base install and updated game and save the updates only.Thats what I did for Purple Soft autoupdates.
>>49976445oh yeah this can work
>>49975912monobeno has ntr?
>>49976967No.
>>49972433Having now read it, 最後之修羅 was really good chapter and Ryuumei is such a great character. KKK has been a banger up till this point and i can only see it getting better from here
>>49972433>>49977216I should finally read it one of these days. I read Dies Irae back in 2016/7, but I want to say remember it well enough.
Speaking of last thread, any VNs where I can get revenge on fiancee/girlfriend/ex for not being faithful to (you)? The girl don't have to actually fuck other people, just have them engaged/become someone else's girlfriend/not helping (you) in need is enough, but full blown NTR/marrying someone else is fine too, as long they suffer in the end and not having good ending like Himekishi Angelica's ex's route.
>>49977224If you liked Dies Irae you'll probably really like Kajiri Kamui Kagura. It does heavily reference things from dies irae tho so if you don't remember things well you'll most likely end up being quite confused at many points and the impact of some of the stuff in the story will be significantly lower
>>49977216I really liked it overall but honestly the last boss is pretty lame.
>>49977338Literally the only thing keeping it from being a 10/10 for me. It was OK but man if only it could have been as amazing as Yoshiya vs Masahiro or something.
>>49977425brainfart, I meant Amakasu obviously
>>49977229https://vndb.org/v15343

Yesterday was the scariest day of my life, i was reading an oyakodon focused nukige and found the flat-chested underdeveloped daughters more attractive than their expired old hags mothers, i thought this was the end of my kyonnyu lifestyle, but i'm happy to report that this morning everything went back to normal as my lust for saggy old women came back.
>>49977606I'm so sorry anon, you saw the light, yet you fell back to darkness.Total hag death
>>49975912my favorite moments were in ありす route
>>49977441>GoreLooks like what I'm looking for, thanks.
>>49966708I'd trust a person using MTL that had to go out of their way to find an obscure VN out of curiosity vs some person barely reading at the 5th grade level that probably bought in solely for the CG set. It's like picking someone who active reads novels in a foreign language vs a native speaker who engages primarily with pop-up books.
>>49979697thank you for your opinion mtlsister
>>49979742I don't use it, it's just some people who can read the language have genuinely retarded opinions and don't even read novels in their native language.
>>49975912Sumi was cute though?
>>49979827why would anyone read novels in their native language when they can read novels in japanese
>>49979851Because you wanted to read a book and were interested in the story? If someone who could read no Spanish wanted to read 100 Years of Solitude or Don Quixote, yet has read everything from Goethe to Hesse and clears 2 novels a week regularly. I'd value the opinion of the latter with a translation over a Mexican landscaper who hasn't read a book since 3rd grade. This doesn't change between languages nor whatever sublunary cultural hallucinations you attribute to a work.
>>49975219Good question because I was wondering too, "was it like, a big deal?" (Kiminozo tends to exaggerating things cuz drama lol), but after some thoughts I think here's the explanation:Remember: Takayuki is a weak person, even weaker because of his trauma. In pre-timeskip, Mitsuki didn't want to make Takayuki feel sorry to her. if she said this, "hey I quit swimming because I want take care of you" Takayuki would feel burdened by guilt of causing his own friend throw away her dream only because of him, and it will worsened his mental. Hence she faked her real reason by, "ah I was thinking that swimming and chasing record is just a bother". So Takayuki, believed on her lies, being dependent on her to heal his trauma.in Mitsuki's route Takayuki feels guilty after knowing that, yet doesn't care about her lying since he already been in love to her. However in Akane's route Takayuki and Mitsuki's relationship is getting colder, so after knowing that truth he feels guilty and wants to cut off his dependency on her. I think the different writer wrote Takayuki inconsistently here, though. Not sure if this can answer much, but it's nice someone noticed that part
>>49979842I only read Sumi...
>>49979851What a baffling post
>>49979697>>49979827>I'd trust someone reading random ESL gibberish spit out by a machine more than someone reading in Japanese as long as their opinion isn't retarded (isn't the same as mine)Powerful and brave
