The silicone body is actually more realistic, because there's a foam layer under the silicone. TPE only has the metal skeleton so when you squeeze the arms/legs they feel like a blob with a stick inside. However the surface (skin) on the TPE is much softer. I don't have experience with the newer ultra soft silicone bodies, maybe those are great for the touch as well. Not really because of how compromised the skeleton is, the major points being the neck, foot bolts (if any), the penetrable holes themselves, and any deep enough cuts. Elsa Babe's dolls are kind of out of date. Just received one last week, and my honest thoughts on them is that they are kinda low when it comes to quality. Yes their anime heads look good, but everything else is kinda meh when compared to newer dolls today. And they are low key kinda scummy/false advertisers:

1. For example on n TDF, for the 160 CM doll, they advertise making all this nice realistic sculpt w/skin textures on hands and body + detailed realistic looking labia using pics of their 3D renders but the actual doll has none of that - the labia is super simplified and unrealistic and the doll itself has 0 skin textures.

2. There's a "extra softness" paid added feature you can get free for their recent promotional sale but the doll isn't really that soft when you actually get it - either a lie or they omit this thinking you will forget/can't tell the difference. Mine was kinda hard on the surface and at the vaginal entrance. The ass is actually soft though and that was also one of the free features.

3. The internals are also claimed on TDF by their reps to be one of the softest on the market - its definitely not and on the harder side. You want soft - check out Sino soft max, Gynoid, and Bezlya, those actually feel like soft TPE onaholes.

4. The vaginal canals are nothing like what they advertise - see pic related. Also there was a small cut on top of the labia, no I did not even use the doll yet, it looks like a sharp precise cut done by a tool.

5. No damages on the rest of the doll. One of the two heads I ordered however had a yellow stain with small scuff by the chin. I tried to clean it off with no luck, ended up peeling the protective layer from the cleaning. Had to reach out to my vendor to get a replacement and this will take another month. At least its free. These are $800 USD each on their own btw.

6. They fucked up my order by giving me 1 wrong wig style and size, and a duplicate of another instead of the correct one. Also missing some other accessories.

7. The breasts are soft and jiggly when groped or slapped, but do have enough density to not be water bag tier like Sino is. I wouldn't put it in the category of softest on the market either for these but they are probably on the "low" upper levels of softness when it comes to silicone dolls.

I've owned several other dolls in the past. This one is the first one with so much fuck ups. I've seen posts of other people having issues as well but more on the side of durability like broken spines or skin tones not being what they thought it would be. If you like the anime aesthetic and don't care much about anything else, I guess Elsa Babe isn't too bad. Taller dolls can satisfy basically all three. With MTV being right for authentic (not chink copies) and realistic dolls at approx 168cm for a 180cm man. The problem with chink copies (like hanidoll) is that they very often reuse (roughly) the same body and only make the legs longer.
But, as said before, a taller doll is usually heavier, but not always. Some dolls have a foam core and the TPE/silicone is put above that to reduce weight so check that out too. Plus smaller ass and tits can help with that too.
E.g. Funwest silicone dolls use this technique and Zelex too I think. It's often called "weight reduction" or you will just see it from the (height * thick mommy) / weight ratio.

Essentially TPE is sticky as fuck and dirt from the motherfucking air sticks to it too. Oh, and bacteria/mold can grow in/on it if it gets exposed. So you have to always clean it properly.
Silicone is better at this and is more resistant to heavier cleaning, but it is also more brittle compared to TPE.
More importantly silicone is firmer too so if the manufacturer cheaped out then the pussy will be too hard (or just feel bad) for your dick, but usually the pussy is made from softer silicone. There are various blends for both and there is the new STPE, but fuck if I know about that.

I own a TPE Lushdoll so I can recommend them, but check what you are buying (always). Great MTV, okayish LHP, but I have a 168 cm tall "fat one" and she is unusable in doggy style, but great for cuddling. Probably their 153cm one is usable for doggy, but too short for anything else except cuddling. Keep in mind that the LD 168 is approx 40kg. That's generally a bit too heavy by my opinion.

I'm right now considering buying a silicone doll and Funwest seems to have great ones for good prices and they have good reviews so you may want to check them out. Their 159 cm A cup and 166 cm F cup seems to have good LHP and doggy usability based on pictures and some confirmed reports from TDF (doll forum).

I bought the LD one from silicone lovers (europoor, but they ship to the US properly and their support is as good as they say it is -> so I would recommend). I intend to buy the Funwest one from them too.

I also used to own a TPE Hanidoll, but its leg was too long and it smelled too much (you may get a bit of lung damage). I would only recommend it if you want a "starter doll" on a budget, but Hanidoll only makes knock-offs, but they do deliver.

Elsa Babe needs to work on their QC and being more truthful about the stuff they're selling. Going for the heads only is a good choice. I know the taller models use a standard M16 push fit connector so it shouldn't be too hard to fit on some other doll bodies. I just can't really recommend Elsa Babe bodies right now because the quality is so iffy. And the model I got was supposed to be one of the more recent releases. Just a word of caution though, while their more humanoid looking heads can be tiny as fuck, their anime styled ones are kinda the opposite. I only have experience with one from before they split to their own factory, like in 2021 I bought their silicone 140cm, and I believe mine was probably a defect or one of those infamously sabotaged models because the internals were soft and oily like they were still uncured, chunks kept falling out after use and cleaning.
