I think it would be neat if you could make your own cult, perhaps as an endgame diversion. It would be a natural fit for demigods, but depending on how complex the system is it might be best to open it to all races.

A big part of Demigod being a good race is actually the executioner being an OP class.
What's even the point of the race? You can do the god-swap marathon easier but 90% of the weapons are still useless shit because of the faction req, and you can only have two pets at once in your party regardless. The voidfaith bonuses are kinda shite as well.

Just some thoughts after "maxing out" my first character (pianist with an absolutely stacked party), I'm now going for the exact opposite on my second character who is a Juere Archer built around Lonely Soul. IMO playing for flavor rather than min/maxing really makes this game. Minmaxing feels boring to me because really there is only one way to play Elin optimally (farming/cooking -> become god at everything) as opposed to *each* build or class having a different optimal strategy like you'd see in most other traditional roguelikes. When you ignore all the game breaking meta stuff (at least for a bit) and actually focus on playing a *character,* that's when Elin feels most immersive and fun for me at least.
E+ is trolling me, all I want is a deed to a museum and its not giving it to me...
How do you finish the monster ball quest in E+ when you can one hit all level 5 monsters? Should I just get a new pet at level 1 or 2 and take it to a new dungeon?

>>50055771Its not that uncommon for void scaled enemies to have at least 20 resistance for cold/fire/lightning. Arrow spells are still cheap and spammable but the newish Sword spells are pretty strong though their mana cost is high. If you decide to stick with sword saint then writing sword spell talismans to your weapon and using bladestorm is a nice way to do burst damage. Katanas now have a default enchant that makes them use up talisman charges slower. As far as I can tell the highest value for that enchant is on Masamune, unfortunately Muramasa doesn't have it though. Other than that when all else fails Gravity > Earthquake. Applying Earthquake talismans to a weapon is pretty funny.
