Where you you visit, assuming you had the means to do so safely? Would you be willing to abandon your current life to live in Gensokyo? Would you stay in the safety of the human village or attempt to seek refuge with one of the lands various factions? Would you seek power, immortality, or would you live a simple life? Would you try to marry your waif-hu?
>>50053134Yeah sure. Either I die or I get into a cool adventure then die. Win-win!
I'd die, become a phantom, and then party for the rest of eternity.
>>50053134>Would you be willing to abandon your current life to live in Gensokyo?Absolutely. Disappearing into a mysterious land of the supernatural has been a dream of mine ever since I was a child and that desire has stayed with me my entire life. If given such an opportunity, I would walk away from anything to pursue it.Once there I would try to find a way to make myself as supernatural as the land is.
>>50053134>Would you be willing to abandon your current life to live in Gensokyo?Of course. If I were more debilitatingly autistic and detached from reality, I might hope to really end up in Muenzuka after I kill myself, or somehow stray across the border one day, either onto the road of reconsideration or into a gap, à la kamS.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_Z8g05qNQ4&list=RDs_Z8g05qNQ4I've played out an RP scenario a couple of times with various chat bots, of a wandering chronicler / reporter of sorts from the human village wandering outside the safety of it's walls to report on "what's really going on out there", because the he knows on some inner level that what the papers in town are saying can't be true. It makes for a good opener, meeting a human-friendly character while wandering, and asking them for an interview or cup of tea. I think that's what I'd aspire to do, if not enjoying the city life for a bit beforehand, getting to know it's regular youkai.
>>50053336You know, I don't have much family left, and I haven't had friends for most of my life. I wonder if I really could die forgotten when time comes for it, and slip out unnoticed. I'll be waiting for the pop-up until then.
Here's my Gensokyo plan:Under the assumption that I do not magically gain a mastery of the Japanese language upon getting gaped, I stay in the human village attempting to do one of the following...-Run into Sakuya, and hope she understands English like her master does.-Run into Sanae, and hope she remembers literally any English from her time in modern Japan.-Run into Kosuzu, write a note to her in English, and hope through non-verbal communication and one way notes to get her assistance in finding/hiring someone to take me somewhere. My ultimate goal is to make my way to the SDM and seek employment. Assuming I can do so, I start learning Japanese from the residents and hopefully get on Patchy's good side enough for her to teach me magic.
Honestly? I'd probably prefer just staying in this world. The life of 99% of humans in Gensokyo is just ancient Japanese peasant life with the occasional incident, and with cute girls that will kill you for fun. And learning magic is clearly not a quick and easy thing to do there, either (plus what's the point in learning magic if everyone else has it anyway?)And if I don't magically get native-level skills on japanese, being stuck in there with only very basic ways to communicate sounds like literal hell on earth.
>>50053914> And learning magic is clearly not a quick and easy thing to do there, either (plus what's the point in learning magic if everyone else has it anyway?)I would say that getting to Gensokyo at all proves that magic is real, so it is entirely possible to find a way to extend your lifespan beyond that of a mortal's like every other magician had once done. The point, beyond it being a good skillset to have, is that it would elevate you above the common humans and place you on the next tier of existence.
>>50053134Assuming I have power and they couldn't stop me no matter how hard they tried, I would visit the Tengu villageI want to see what it's like
Moriya Shrine. Sanae is like the platonic ideal of wife material for me personally. I want to nerd out with her, talk mecha with her, and overall just be around her.
>>50054049I get what you're saying but personally I just don't care about being above normal humans or whatever. But yeah I hadn't thought of the lifespan stuff with magic, would definitely be pretty nice to have all the time in the world to go and study magic (and end up with fun spells like shapeshifting or something)
Alright /jp/, how would you go about seducing your 2hu waifu? Is it even possible, realistically?
>>50054148hit her over the head with a steel pipe, put her in a bag, tie her up somewhere until stockholm syndrome kicks in
>>50054631All shitposting aside, who would that actually work for? Think about it for a second, which 2hus would actually fall into all of these categories:1. Not strong enough that they'd likely be unaffected by a steel pipe.2. In a location you can safely access and easily smuggle an unconscious body out of.3. Isn't important enough or visited by friends/colleagues often enough to warrant a manhunt (likely helmed by incredibly powerful/intelligent people).4. Isn't a dream apparition that'd probably just vanish (i.e. Sumireko)Maybe you could get away with kidnapping a nameless fairy, MAYBE a human village girl if you're really lucky and prepared, but good luck trying to nab a named hu. The closest Hu I can think of that fulfills those requirements even somewhat is Alice (only somewhat, Marisa would notice her disappearance and she's popular in the human village) but I wouldn't fuck around with youkai like that if I valued my life.
>>50053134>Would you be willing to abandon your current life to live in Gensokyo? No, unlike 90% of losers here, I have a reason to live, people I like and people that need me in here. My life kind of sucks, but its my life, throwing that away to live in the shithole (yes, SHITHOLE) that is Gensokyo for the average Joe sounds like a god awful idea, second only to killing myself and ending in literal hell.
>>50054688And that is why you will never embark on a magical adventure.
>>50054688This isn't a very comfy post anon...
>>50054148Slut
>>50053134I'd likely try to exploit it, do some major geopolitcal action which would mean my death, and then just go over there. Or otherwise i'd just make sure my family has as much of a ground to stand on when i leave. It'd also mean a lot of the how to i get there, but i'm not going to get picky with that.My wife to be is in the village, so naturally i'd stay there. And i'd probably want a simpler life, i have my autism that'd drive me to try and progress the technological age of Gensokyo, but no grand aspirations for power. Immortality would be nice, but again it'd be a matter of how, and specially if it'd be for my wife too. >>50054148Be enough of a presence in her life, in one way or another, so that she'd be forced to ground herself away from that little island she stands witnessing the rest of Gensokyo, and from there i'd have won half the battle, the rest i'm confident i can do just by my own charms and intellect>>50054688More or less the same, but a good exit strategy could still guarantee safety in your family and loved ones. Also much better than most modern parts of the world
>>50054674while it wouldn't work on them I could picture oni women seeing it as some sort of romantic gesture
>>50054994An oni woman would take one look at your now bent steel pipe (where did you even get that?), laugh boisterously, and then pick you up like a sack of rice and carry you back with her to former hell to subject you to being tied up/suffering stockholm syndrome. So mission accomplished I guess?
>>50053134>>50054148I'm going to be reincarnated as this kid
>>50053134I'd like to visit the stalls on the Road of Liminality, it's a very underexplored place. It's said to be festive year-round, and visited often by people, despite the path to it being through (supposedely) some of the more dangerous locales.Of course, that's only if Gensokyo operates as described in PMiSS. Modern printworks made it decidedly uncomfy.
>>50054148Satorin understands everybody, but nobody makes an effort to understand her. Her life is stressful; having to manage Chireiden and care for her lobotomized sister. If someone took the time to actually be attentive to her emotions, Satorin would surely open up to him. Whether she knows it or not, Satorin needs a shoulder to cry on....and then you pin her down and fill her womb with your LOVE!
>>50056565>...and then you pin her down and fill her womb with your LOVE!Since Satori can perfectly read your mind, if she ever allowed herself to get into a situation where you were doing this it's likely because she consented, even if she didn't tell you explicitly.
>>50053134>Where you you visit, assuming you had the means to do so safely?I would go particularly everywhere and attempt to visit every location I can remember though I am somewhat of a coward so I wouldn't go anywhere If I can guarantee my safety.>Would you be willing to abandon your current life to live in Gensokyo? Honestly depends if my family abd friends remembers me after I disappear or not. If they remember me I wouldn't go but if they didn't then I might be tempted to live in Gensokyo.>Would you stay in the safety of the human village or attempt to seek refuge with one of the lands various factions? I live in the village at first so that I could try and become powerful in a safe place but once I'm strong enough I would go live on my own somewhere in the Magic Forest like Ailce and Marisa >Would you seek power, immortality, or would you live a simple life? I would definitely seek as much power as possible not just for the sake of safety but also because it would make any kind of reletionship I build be more even and because my goals in Gensokyo would be to participate in various canon events and explore all these mythical places. As for immortality I would try and extend my life and youth as much as possible but I wouldn't want to live forever.>Would you try to marry your waif-hu?I don't really have a waif-hu. I'm more interested in having fun Advetures and wandering carefree around Gensokyou then getting into a reletionship.
>>50054148I honestly doubt I could do anything to get Kaguya to fall for me so I wouldn't bother.
>>50054148Haha... At the minimum it would be a herculean feat, in reality it's probably an impossibility. Unless I could convince her I would be a novel pet, worth keeping around as a good optic for taking over the surface given the off kilter behavior of the gouyoku compared to the rest of the animal realm, or pray my blood is tasty enough to keep me around as a willing blood bag and work off one of those. If the learning magic route is an option, it's probably still a similar idea. Go hard on bettering myself, try and become her servant or a tool for her to use, figure things out from there. If all else fails, just annoy her enough to get eaten to end the journey. win/win
>>50061759I'm sure she could think of some seemingly impossible fetch quests to send you on to prove yourself worthy.
>>50053134You think Reimu is down to fuck?
>>50062355I thought those quests of hers were a polite way of telling her suitors to fuck off.
>>50062819But it would surely be a flex worthy of her attention if you did succeed.
>>50061759It's stupid but I think Kaguya would fall for a guy that didn't treat her like a trophy and just took the time to know the genuine, real her. She doesn't need a strong or wealthy husband, so one that's just enjoyable to be around would probably be her preference.
>>50062849It's a common thing seen in media but I agree. The best way to win her heart isn't to put her on a pedestal like everyone else does, but treat her as you would anyone else. At first she may be taken back by the apparent audacity but she may come to be charmed by the one man who is seemingly not mesmerized by her beauty.
>>50062949I know it's cheesy and cliche, but it just feels appropriate for Kaguya. It's also easier said than done. Kaguya would naturally be guarded around men, having delt with so many suitors.
>>50053134When exactly would we land in Gensokyo? Because if it's before EoSD then you would have enough time to get strong natrual integrate yourself in the various 2hu circles by trying to resolve various Incidents.>>50062949>apparent audacityHasn't Kaguya appear rasher down to earth (heh) in every single one of her apperances outside of IM where she's explicitly hostile? If CSD is anything to go by then Kaguya is way more approachable then we initially thought
>>50062992Maybe she just mellowed out a bit since the Heian era.
>>50063086Not being constantly harassed by horny suitors will do that.
>>50054148If there is one thing I have confidence in, it's being an entertaining drunk. I may not be able to beat her in a fair fight or impress her with a superhuman feat of strength, but I can amuse her and make her laugh. The hardest part would be getting to her, which funny enough could count as a feat of strength in itself for a regular old human. I'd have to give myself every advantage possible before setting out, whether it's decking myself out with magical artifacts, learning a bit of magic, or even making a friend, but it's a journey I'd be willing to make. Now, why would she want to drink with some rando from the surface? I think she would be at least a little curious as to why a human from a foreign land would risk life and limb to visit her, especially one that managed to make the arduous journey to former hell (hopefully) relatively unscathed. I don't know what exactly I would say or do once I have my foot in the door, but I trust drunk me to make the right judgement calls when it comes to entertaining.
>>50062992>When exactly would we land in Gensokyo?Gensokyo right this moment (i.e. FW just happened) and somewhere out of sight in the Human Village.
>>50063654Ah man that sucks you'd practically miss all of Touhou this way.
>>50054148Pretty fucking easy for me, since I’m also a mecha nerd. Start off with some Gundam references, then follow up by telling her about all the cool shit she needs to catch up on outside. I’m positive Sanae and I would have a lot to bond over.
>>50053134>Would you be willing to abandon your current life to live in Gensokyo? The prospect of learning an anti-mosquito spell alone makes Gensokyo a top tier place to live.
>>50062992Yeah the only times Kaguya has come across as arrogant was as you mentioned in IN and once in Cage in Lunatic Runagate after Reimu talked shit about the Luna Captial.
