I think Nasu glazed over that part of the story way too quickly, the impression I had was that Akiha realized Kohaku's intentions on a certain level while willfully ignoring them because of her guilt, not that Akiha explicitly knew about Kohaku arranging for her father to be killed but acting like it never happened.
It kinda undercuts Kohaku's role as a cunning schemer if she relies on Makihisa trusting her wayyyy too much and Akiha being aware of exactly what she's doing but deciding to ignore it.

Was that in the Arcueid or Ciel route? I don't remember it from the Ciel route and I haven't read the original Arcueid route yet since I heard it was very similar to the one in the remake.

In the remake Roa has an elaborate hideout/lair and some freaky monster minions like picrel, but when I went to find that image I read on the wiki just now I read that people suspect Arach (a new side-character) was responsible for creating them? The relationship between Roa, Arach, Makihiisa and Goto is one of the main mysteries in RG. Saiki just built the school and department store crypts and 1 (or 2) hospitals, maybe even the mansion's pagoda (unlikely but he could've done some other renovations). But everything ele like Roa (Pantheoon bullshit?) and Makihisa's plans (probably something about Inversion Impulse and Akiha's role to do something about it) and Arach's role as a mediator are completely unknown (at least to me).

Currently revamping my entire workspace before I possibly do gamedev streams more. I'd been doing Crop and Claw 2 work so much lately that I might've burnt myself out, but reworking my living space has helped and I'll probably try a relatively smaller project as a dev stream pet project, since CnC2's a lot more complicated and tends to be harder to stream while chatting.

I even got myself a fun setup where I can stream pushing updates to my RG35XX-SP as I'm developing and recording off of it, so there's a fun physicality to it. I could probably post here next time I try a stream if folks are interested. I don't really consider myself a streamer or videomaker or such, but I do have fun messing around with such, especially to shill these dumb devices as game dev platforms. This side project will probably be a 3D game, which means some comically horrible optimizations would be needed to get things running well.

The main thing I was conscious off with Rider's design was the fact I didn't want her outfit to turn out something obscene. I leaned more toward a snug-fitting bodysuit rather than a sexually charged leather suit.

Nasu: I do recall you when I asked you if her outfit was leather, you said "no" with quite a bit of tenor.

Takeuchi: I may not have wanted the suit itself to be leather, but I did imagine the bindings to be leather. I thought those little accents being made of leather might add a touch of elegance without making her look like a dominatrix.

Nasu: I see. As a side note, Rider was initially supposed to have a height somewhere in the range of 175-180cm, but we were worried that PC gamers might not find such a tall woman particularly appealing, so we compromised at 172cm.

Nasu: But you know, I did get some feedback suggesting that more than a few of our players were surprised that she was "so short" since I had emphasised her height in the original "stay night" material.

Sony won't let FGO end. Fate is their active money maker, and they'll double down and slow the pacing to a crawl until Nasu finishes it in 2035.

Sony has the privilege to make money from both the Fate anime, the Mahoyo anime AND the TsukiR/Mahoyo VN

It's not about IP or whatever. Type Moon is a small VN studio which it barely makes anymore. Modern TM is about anime, regular games, mobile games, various events, tons of merchendise and so on. TM has no money or expertise to do all of that. Pretty much everything that defines modern TM is handled and funded by other companies, mainly Sony. TM can't exist without Sony anymore, however for Sony, a multinational corporation, TM is just another asset. It's not an equal relationship.
