I wish otaku/maniac culture and outlook had taken the world by storm instead so there would be doujin cultures and original creations in the west instead of people going "It's not Japanese? Then it's SHIT!", especially in regards to style. You could make the exact same work as a Japanese but if it didn't look anime 'nuff, it's still trash. If only japan and western nerd culture had merged instead of anime merging with autists.
