I always wanted for there to be a Touhou manga that explored more the universe, and actually had conflicts that could affect the setting. This does not happen in official manga so I wanted to make this thread where we can make what does not happen in canon.Basically, I want you all to give me and each other ideas about how to continue and expand the universe, as well as a general plot of how the sequence of things goes and how new characters get introduced, even if they are totally fanmade.Ideas like: a symbol/flag/anthem for the Lunarians and a true objective, organizations in the outside world who want to get rid of youkai, a proper background for most characters, an idea for a protagonist (I can explain why Reimu wouldn't be a good option if you ask), a reason for Gensokyo to exist, and of course a plot.For this idea I used an image from Natuto edited for Touhou. Just imagine it is the Human Village instead of Konohagakure. And I also edited the Akatsuki cloak to have the sigil I got for the Lunarians.Just feel free to add what you want or ideas you have.

I don't want, I mean, I utterly hate using the typical stereotype of male lead in anime (Isekai specifically.). The guy who is too nice/naive and that gets girls, etc. I want it to be a character with more background or an actual personality . It can be a woman, but then it would be more complicated to develop.The reason I said we need to make OC is for two main important reasons: one is that there is no character in canon who fulfills fully the role of villain, hero, or even neutral. And the second is that Reimu can't be used because she is part of the system, and it would be extremely weird to make her rebel against Gensokyo or something like that. Plenty of directions you could go, especially if you want to give her a backstory. 3: A outsider with magical powers. Obviously, pretty big risk of going into Isekai territory. But the likes of Sumireko exist and it might be possible to make this work. It also has the advantage of having a character who doesn't know anything about Gensokyo. Oh yeah, I was supposed to do the job and put her over~ The thing is; the CDS program is a total schmozz and makes no sense, like my match with Flandre was a total hotshot. I was rigging my bike when ZUN called in and told me that he booked me a match with Flandre, and that drunken mess didn't tell me that the impromptu match was 30 days soon! That old man decided that on his own and didn't even set the tone! I was glad at first to wrestle with her, because she is legit an insanely popular idol wrestler like all the EoSD cast~ You book them, you get papers, pops and fully sold out arenas! Then come a hard truth, this girl was a total unsafe spotmonkey! Like, she's a one-trick pony! Paska... Flandre is like her sister; they are full packaged hardcore monster girls in kayfabe! But these greens legit had to be with a carpenter to carry them, all the time! If Sakuya or Okina wasn't here, this girl would be just a botches baker~ So, the match started and I knew that I had to carry everything on my back! But as expected, Flandre wanted to go into business for herself and work stiff with me! Problem for her is; I'm a legit shooter! Okina wasn't here and Sakuya had work to do... That botchfest was worse than I had planned and I aborted the program because Flandre kept shooting, no-selling and sand-bagging on me. But the crowd popped because Uuuu~ Flan Flan~ Then she wanted to finish me with her Eye of Destruction finisher; Perkele! There is no way that I'm gonna let myself be hit, by something so slow and dangerous!
