I've been not so deep in the weeaboo life the past few years - the last Comiket I went to was C87. I just started planning a trip for this winter, and thought I'd try to go to Comiket, but it sounds like they now require a wristband for entry, that you have to buy ahead of time. Any recent Comiket-goers care to share some info? Do these things, especially the e-ticket version, sell out quickly? (Days/hours/minutes/seconds?) The afternoon entry ones can be bought onsite, but they also "strongly recommend buying PM wristbands beforehand". So that sounds ominous.

Basically, is getting into Comiket now so uncertain that I shouldn't be making travel plans around it?

Not recent - C96.
But I was able to buy bands with relatively little fuss a few days before in Tokyo.

No prob. Nice thing I saw this before archive.
I'm glad I got it off my bucket list and had a blast, shame it was too crowded to really have a conversation with the people who make my favorite arranges and smut - hope you have a good time!
