My favorite three hu' fangames. Tale of Beautiful Memories is particularly comfy.
>>
Genius of sappheiros. Also Yoiyami was and is still good. It's a shame the artist didn't put a pig in there somewhere.

The one part where you start dancing with Daiyousei is pure kino
>>
Currently playing Three Fairies' Hoppin' Flappin' Great Journey! It is excellent.
>>
-still not a single good futa on male touhou game
I am just coping at this point.
>>
anyone have anything nice to say about Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony? i played luna nights for a few hours but i think i merely tolerate metroid games.

Touhou Spell Carnival looks fun but not for that fuckin' price, they're insane.
>>
>>50358246
Fucking based, same here apart from Tale of Beautiful Shoujo memories, I don't really know what my third pick would be, though. Maybe Artificial Dream in Arcadia or Puppet Dance Performance.

Touhou Dystopian is incredible, what a breath of fresh air for the Touhou fangame scene.
>>
What non-bullet hell fangames do you guys recommend other than Mystia's Izakaya and Luna Nights? I'm playing through FMW right now and really enjoying it so I'm looking for other games to try out once I'm done with this one
>>
>>50361924
Touhou Dystopian is a fun rouge like, that's kind of hack and slash. Touhou Shojo rpg is like super mario rpg was touhou
>>
>>50360396
I like this game conceptually but the translation is comedically bad and so is the music.

>>50361631
>i think i merely tolerate metroid games.
Well good news, its a classicvania.
Its alright but the game is pretty old, I wasn't sure why it has a mixed until I saw the price and yeah justified. Its way too short for 30 bux. I'm not even sure i'd pay 10 bux for it.

this looks neat. i like a good 4 ninjas in a row experience. looks like the random encounters include everything, even a kitchen sink. seems to have a bit of Everyone is Here syndrome that I'm also seeing early on in Fantasy Maiden Wars, not that that's bad though.
>>
>>50362514
I got hooked on her for like a year. There's enough to do and on the hard mode it makes you think.
There's also a spell capture Satori has early on. You can waste tons of time collecting enemy spells if that's your thing.
>>
Anyone tried Yoiyami Biscuit?

Alright so heres my take after going over the refund window time whoops.
Its a twinstick shooter that looks like another vampire survivors clone at first, but its more like... FTL, i'd say? You do 1 stage which can take anywhere from 20-60 seconds, then you get a shop menu and a path you can choose to a different stage. Occasionally there are "events" along the path, which is what reminded me more of FTL.

The shooting sections are pretty basic of what you'd expect out of a touhou themed twin stick shooter. Like I really can't go into excess detail about it, very what you see is what you get.

The items are cute, but they're all nonsensical names so its going to be a learning curve as you test items to see what it does and remember them by name. Theres a lot of helpful stats on what they do numerically, but you just wont really get a feel for how to use it until you buy it. Also it throws basically everything at you at once, no progressive unlocks as far as I can tell.

The game is tough, and expects you to be sacrificing your main snack to consume it for permanent buffs and buying new ones. But each eaten snack takes up an inventory space so its a weird balance. Also theres a lot of random little items.
Pretzel is kinda neat reminds me of the Homing + Laser combo from Gunstar Heroes. Also all the weapons can have buff prefixes like Spicy or Salty that change it up a bit so theres even more RNG to worry about.

Overall not bad for $6 but i'm also not in a situation where i'd care about $6 that much, unique enough experience and the music isn't quite as good as Yoiyami Dancers but its still cute and not unwelcome. Its not the Vampire Survivors clone I thought it would be, which is a good thing.

And now that i've finally finished a run, my complaints:

- Point items decay in value EXTREMELY fast. You have about 10 FRAMES before the first decay, then maybe 1-2 seconds per decay step slowly growing until its worth half the amount it originally was. The Magnet item is almost a requirement for every run.
- DO NOT EAT POTATO CHIPS, RUN ENDER.
- Theres a LOT of just mediocre or awful items, and they're way too expensive for what little bonus it gives
- Challenges and such do not seem worth it for just a couple stat points, but if it gives an item you really need, sure I guess.
- Upgrades and items in general are really pitiful, item stacking gives heavily diminished returns generally not being worth taking duplicates except in specific cases
- Certain unique items you only get far too late in the game to actually enjoy using them, or require very specific builds to make use of it and praying you see that item later (Jo'on doll giving you an obscene amount of ATK/DEF but you have to pre-fill your inventory with nothing but Rare/Rich items or else you go into the negatives)
- Saki is fucking bullshit of a boss, you're just forced to take hits at the start because of the speed/hitboxes, but I shouldn't have expected better from any kind of shooter with a health bar.
- The RNG on snack prefixes and aim type is annoying but I guess it'd be too strong if I could just pick auto-aim pudding every run.

wait it's out? what the fuck am I waiting for I love this guy.

I'm gonna eat ALL THE CHIPS.

This one is good but unfortunately short, my only complaint is that the enemies don't have enough HP to actually use the fun combos.

I think this dev started out with a line of momiji themed games with similiar gameplay. The stat building was hard as fuck from what I recall.
Look into it if you enjoy the platforming combat aspect.

Katsugeki Kidan by chance? I never thought to look at the devs but they're not the same, probably. Who knows with as much they like to rename themselves. Those are fun too.

YEAH that's the one. Gatling Cat? I thought they were from the same people.
It's a rather old one. I never did beat that one boss because I fucked my offense.

I hate that 90% of all Touhou fangames are 2D platformers. I don't care if it's cute or charming, when it's done over and over again it just screams lazy and uninspired to me.
