One of Yukari's biggest draws for me, personally, is that she's a cat in spirit. It's the fact that she's one of (if not the most) powerful beings in Gensokyo, and that almost everyone dislikes her on an incredibly petty level -- like the entire cast's gut reaction to her showing up anywhere is "not this b-- again", and she revels in it. She has this smug, undeniable authority over everyone, and she just uses it to get on their nerves and peeve them without consequence, and when she's had enough for the day she just fucks back off to her home and naps, uninterrupted, for 72 hours straight. She's fucking hilarious and appeals to me on a very deep level. There are gods starting incidents left and right over political intrigue, blood feuds and strategic interests, and then there's Yukari who lives just to be a massive troll. She's so far ahead of everyone else that she's in freeplay. They call that a power gap.
