What’s the worst experience you’ve had within the fandom
I haven't interacted with the "fandom" enough to have seen anything that bad, but I remember being pretty disgusted by what I saw in them when looking around in Touhou D*scord servers. (I was feeling lonely, ok?)

For instance, any touhou geared server I have found zero, exactly zero merit in. But some random server for shit I personally don't care for or only have a passive interest in is somehow amazing and has a good community. I find obscure imageboards more fulfilling a pursuit but even those come with their own problems if they aren't outright dead in terms of activity. Although I find the lesser the activity, the more the quality of the posts there.

Funny enough I think the majority of negative fan interactions I've had have been with extreme opposites within the fanbase, that being the really hardcore gameplay fags and the really loud (i.e. all of them) yuri troons. They're actually kind of similar, loud and abrasive and will aggressively insist that their method of engaging with the franchise is the only one that matters.
