They eat 10 Fertility each, but that doesn't matter if you're planting them in a base without a farm and such. You could be eco-friendly by planting them in a base with residents that naturally produce electricity and use your generators for another base instead.

Things I've re-discovered from starting all over again:>You can use 'Target or Party' spells on individual targets by setting them onto your 1-9 hotbar, then scrolling with the middle mouse button to 'select' the spell without casting it, click on the person you want to use it on (they must be next to you). This works for buffs and healing spells>You can use Rods of (Short) Teleport on not only creatures but furniture as well. This is especially useful if you need to move furniture out of the way to get at the fixed Small Medal on its tile (e.g. the Casino Table at the Thieves' Guild). The only thing you can't teleport this way are doors, but:>If you are strong and/or skilled enough, you can just pickpocket the actual door itself. Because doors are furniture 'placed' on a wall, doing so keeps the wall in its place. This can be especially useful if you want to steal everything from a room without being walked in on - just remove the door. I bought a horse from Yowyn to complete the Raphael quest, for whatever reason, the horse didn't show up. I bought a slave and then went to Raphael, and she did show up which is interesting.So I'm guessing the pets you can't sell to him are pets that you start out with or acquire before you get his quest?
