So, how are you guys doing the Advanced Challenge thing? After 3 hours of try and fail, I could make it with his team.
The Satori is borrowed, of course. I don't even know how I will make the tasks of bringing a Rin/Okuu in the team, and not even think of making in 8 or less actions.

I'm gonna be highly critical about Lost Word

I'm gonna be highly critical about Lost Word, err... Lust Word because of how it's not really well made as a Touhou Gacha game (and the story is just going nowhere and such)

1. The Story:

I do like the concept of the Alternate Universe ideas and solving each universe's worlds, but having your character joining in really feels like a paradise for some people who have their own characters in Gensokyo (myself included for the beginning of its time) but the story now goes nowhere and doesn't follow much of the story. The first 3 chapters was perfect, but later chapters aren't following the stories anymore and it's really disappointing, really. Where's the Lost Word in Lost Word? Now it's just something else. Not to mention that a lot of the Event Stories always revolve around tiny Yukari a lot in the Event Stories, which really tires me a lot, why can't they all take breaks of her and the other larger universe units?

2. The Choices

This is one of the things I hate most about the game as well: The Choices don't matter and they only pick the very bottom decision. Pick the 1st one and it doesn't make any sense if you look at the log of the story. Umamusume does it better than Lust Word, honestly.

3. "Battle of Bullets"

Just call it "Danmaku Battle" or "Bullet Hell Battle" for f\*ck's sake.

4. Oversexuallized outfits and Tiny forms

This needs no f\*cking explanations. I know it's a Gacha Game (which I will explain my gripes of this later on). It also extends the fact that even for universes, they should bring back some previous ones for collections or stories and such, at least that's what I would want to do. But those designs (mostly the tiny forms of just about every character) just drives everyone the wrong way. Also to a REALLY BIG extent,

5. Overuse of "Greenwich Debris"

Biggest annoyance of all people, but I feel like they should have different battle themes and let that music play on occasions, not in ALL Multibattles, if anyone gets my point. In my humble opinion, The Battle Cats does it better for not using the same music over and over and over again on stages.

6. Gacha System

Time for the usual Nitty Gritty stuff about this, the Gacha system. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of the worst things, even in Hoyoverse's Gacha games like Genshin Impact, but it's really one of the things I hate, even if you save it or not, and they give you points for getting the things you do and don't want. I feel like adding that pity system included might work, but it's just how it is. Makes it feel like Cookie Run games, but I care less about Cookie Run Gacha since it was more generous in earlier times.

7. Repeated Early PC-era Touhou stuff

Doesn't really surprise anyone at this point. I mean, I do that in Walfas animations too, but I wanted to add more to those stories, but what does Lust Word do? Probably the same characters from EoSD, PCB, IN, and I guess MoF to some degree, and as that I'm making my stories new, Lust Word continues to do that a lot. Wish they'd do more stories with other later Touhou games as well, honestly. I can wait when they do Fossilized Wonders soon enough, but also other Touhou games.

8. Overall thoughts.

Touhou Lost Word lost its "Lost" and is now replaced with two Deadly Sins, "Lust" and "Greed" (or perhaps all of the Seven Deadly Sins of mobile gaming). But in all in honesty, if they do less of this, then I really don't wish the game doesn't go to End of Service (which I wish it had) but noo, all those people just wasting money on this game for characters they want (that they'll never get in a million pulls). Would they improve? Doubt it.

8.5 The Gameplay

Never forget how boring the gameplay is and always feel like a chore.

There a lot of legit things to complain about this game and some of his points go in the right direction but you can tell this is from reddit because that person isn't crying about smol versions being uncreative or repetitive but is instead complaining about them being to sexy. Most of them are legit wearing the same outfits as their big versions and there are not even swimsuit versions of them. Same person probably also thinks the fairy manga is super problematic because all the faires are basically kids and there are even chapters in which they change outfits and you get to see what they wear under their fancy regular clothes. Bro should complain about the 350-400 rolls required to hit pity in almost every modern banner. Pity doesn't carry over between banners like in some other games but even if it did, no one would randomly roll in banners in LW since there is nothing to even randomly pull besides the banner character. He should complain about the fact that the game is creating new characters at an absurd pace while also needing either 4 dolls or dupes to make most of them even worth using AND pretty much never adding anyone above L1 rarity into the general banner pool. You can't even randomly pull anyone you skipped earlier unless it is a really special banner that shows up maybe 1 time a year. They also still hand out the same amount of cubes from times when almost every banner only needed 150 rolls, many new characters were added to the banner pools so that you could randomly get them later and the dolls required to upgrade them were super common. There also has not been a 2x cube reward from errands in over a year at this point and they also removed the MV dolls from events and now stuck them to eternal front stuff which is way more annoying and rare.

I have enough cubes and dolls to roll for either 2 EFES or 2 MV/Relic type characters. Ready for the end of the year. 2 NY characters? I can get them. 2 PC98 characters? I can get them. Would only be a problem if they actually have all of those at once and I have to spark multiple times.

More insights for new Luck upgrades:

Once your character has reached the MLB Status, the new mechanic (I call it Faten't, you'll see later why I call it that) unlocks and you can spend points on more Stats for your character. For each point of Fate your character has, you gain one point to spend on the Stats. Fate now maxes out at a value of 300 so you can at most spend an equal amount to that on the whole mechanic.

You can enhance every Stat up to 20 times. HP gives 25, other Stats 5 for each upgrade, resulting in 500HP and 100 Stats each.

The upgrade cost increases over time.
Here's a table which shows how much each upgrade stage costs:

Stages 1-8: 1 Point
Stages 9-12: 2 Points
Stages 13-14: 3 Points
Stages 15-16: 4 Points
Stages 17-20: 5 Points

Fully upgrading a Stat costs 50 Points.

THIS MEANS that spending too many points on the Stats locks you out from fully upgrading the SP Cost reduction which unlocks after spending 200 Points on the stats and which costs are as follows:

Stage 1: 15 Points
Stage 2: 20 Points
Stage 3: 25 Points

You can only spend an amount up to 300 Points total. This means, spending over 240 Points on the Stats locks you out of the third Stage of the SP Cost reduction, over 265 from the second Stage and over 285 from the first Stage. Each Stage of SP reduction reduces the Base SP Cost by one. The Base Stats will NOT be reduced as we know it with the regular SP cost reduction. This allows for a lower amount of Stat loss when reducing the SP cost for a farm.

Additionally increasing the Fate value above 100 does not increase the amount of drops. Therefore the highest value of this whole new mechanic is the SP reduction which can be quite expensive for higher rarity units.

TLDR: It seems that you can't fully upgrade and fully reduce your SP cost of a friend due to luck point limit. It is one or the other.

I have Mamizou, she's ze buffer when C5 Koishi has problems nuking stuff in one go, she's ze buffer the moment I need C5 Koishi to nuke other stuff and leave her with Sumireko to nuke other shit.

Lately I'm barely using Mima or Shinki cause for 120 clears I do prefer blasting them with MV Reisen and Kaguya, even in 1t with no extra sauce and only 2p they both delete whatever enemy is present, if not it's one extra turn with Reisen debuffing enemies with Flandre EB card and Kaguya either using Gengetsu EB card or any other card to buff Reisen damage.

If bunny is useless due bullet nerfs or whatever I simply bring Ex Sakuya or Minoriko, Ex Sakuya is preferable and I switch MV Kaguya with whatever that Okina card is called.

With Shinki I simply pick NY Marisa and C5 Zanmu

Some UFES can shit good damage, if in the past you could grade them through DS and their ability to 1t nuke with self buffs, nowadays that DS stage are fucking clownmode, grading them is no longer possible.

By doing daily Phantasma arena, sometimes you just want to shit around with other units, I acknowledge that LR Aya is maybe comparable with E1 Patchy, still, before getting Ex Mamizou and Ex Sumireko, I do have used her coupled with MV Koishi, sometimes she hits good numbers, many other times MV Koishi did 3 times her damage.

If arena is not a good sample then it's the fucking tower on which I had H5 Mystia doing tons of damage, other times she simple sucked balls, H5 Yuuka doing better than her with F1 Marisa card, all units potentially have their moments, but I really can't grade them.

If I know she has the killers that's fine, but since the clowns doing DS are trying their best to nerf whatever unit isn't in the list of the last 10 units released in the past week, you'll never know which anomalies they are planning to spam us, which elements, which killer roulette will be tossed around, you either have everything at the ready or you are potentially fucked.

How many relics we have? 25 or 26? Half of them sucks, and the other half will have their moments, which relics are the most used? We know them, 5 or 6 of them are nearly used for everything right?

I'm aware that MV Koishi is potentially useful cause I made 6 farms with her, I have used MV Okina and she's not that bad, I can compare her utility to C3 Yukari, she's not on par with C3 Yukari, MV Mokou simply sucks, generally speaking MV Satori also does suck, still 5 farms for her, plus other stuff I did not publish or say about her, cause these clowns will simply open their calculator, do their fucking math and say this thing it's not true "cause", this also a lie cause she didn't had her bis, or she did this cause fucking C3 Hecatia and F1 Koishi were carrying her.

I hate them, simple as.

Also it doesn't help the fact that NN did mess with the game, farming MV Sanae card in the past, with that 10sp comp, was doable, last time they put it back, I tampered with the comp, it wasn't working despite better cards, I put back older cards, it was working, the funny thing is, in the past I farmed 14 single copies of that card with no wipes, no disconnections no fucking nothing, last time, just to farm 4 more copies, I had around 10 wipes a day, had to fix the comp by adding MV Reimu to fix their shortcomings that weren't there before

Also Seiga is good to luck farm EX stage from events, totally questionable and replaceable if you have Scarlet Marisa and ze PCB ones, I have used her to farm CF1 Reimu card, at first everything worked fine despite anomalies fucking up the attack order but causing no wipes no damage shortages, one update later the comp was literally destroyed and she wasn't even doing whatever damage she was supposed to do, I mean 3 to 4 wipes per 10 runs and she was running with fucking MV Kasen and Gengetsu, go fucking figure what NN did

I'm gonna be honest here: I have played this game for 5 years and I'm still amazed of some things. This time, how hard Kokoro hits if you give her time to prep, stacking Barrier Stored Power (75% Koishi), Spirit Power Stored Power (NY Marisa) and Hecatia's Yang Up (Third Skill). All this plus 10 Crit Atk.
Now that I wrote it, it kinda sounds dumb that I didn't realize earlier. I guess sometimes you have to think outside the box and not make everything a 1-turn nuke.

My strat is usually to just bruteforce these things with genics and a stored power unit (my go-to yang and yin comps are NY Marisa + shinki + mugetsu and L80 Kasen + mima + gengetsu respectively). Strongest fairy keeps getting stronger.

Reminder that luck stats buffs can be applied before reaching 100 luck and since every mlb starts at 25 luck this update buffed every rarity, if you reach 50 luck you can get +100 for one stat.

It might be worth doing the Water EX stuff if you're missing cards in your journal. Considering that the Collection Milestone for Story Card Limit Break times is the amount of unique cards owned. Even if you're currently topped out there's always a chance NN will additional tiers later.

I have been doing some testing and after a while I discovered that yukkuri rituals have the same drop rate on normal so the best yukkuri farner is L1 Suika reduced to 5 SP, her fire spread shot is one of the fastest and with 100% acc, you only graze 3 times and it kills the boss that drops the rituals without using skills.

You'd think with someone like MV Parsee being out right now, the eternal battle for the new RNG card would be designed around her main element but the entire thing is sun/metal and a bit of earth. It is also entirely yang focused and every yin attacker will just be constantly have their attack debuffed. Guess it is all leading up to Youmu and Koishi.

I like when Reimu shows up and goes "The shrine maiden will be wiped from this world. Miko and Mizuhashi Parsee both start with an M so it is pretty much the same which means you must be a shrine maiden and I have to kill you now." NY Koishi will be worth having simply to get some more metal yang damage with modern day damage numbers. I think the strongest metal focused LW I have that is based on yang attack is A10 Suwako. Everyone else is yin.

There really are not that many good characters with laser spell cards. At least not among the ones I have. Most of the luck cards are pretty useless besides maybe giving some stats but I feel like most laser characters scale with speed and not defense.
