1- I don't think we have enough different genners to do a good enough colage

I've really liked it so far apart from the fact that your character's penis looks like some sort of cylindrical alien creature, and the game feels sort of grindy sometimes unless I'm doing something wrong. Those are minor nitpicks, though.

I like all iterations of Marisa but FS Marisa's got some great outfits. That's something I quite admire Touhou for is the character designs have a set "look" to them but they can wear variations on it which feels somewhat realistic like yeah of course they won't wear the same clothes all the time (outside fanart). Think one of the funnier details I noticed is that while Reimu's outfit is pretty static ZUN changes the colour of the neck bow she has like Reimu's choosing a different necktie to wear to work

Again great gen, Saragimaru's my favorite so it's always great to see gens of her especially with a cool adapted costume like that. How are you able to get the blizzard/snowstorm effect to look so good? Mine always just end up looking like regular snow, kind of annoying. Also kind of curious about how you get the lighting to look so good in your gens as well, forgot to ask about that in the earlier gens you posted.

It's really iconic and has somewhat limited flexibility when it comes to being adapted, so in spite of that I think ZUN and the illustrators he hires do a pretty good job at changing her outfit up a little. The necktie analogy is funny though, hadn't thought of that.

With Reimu you can see she really doesn't get that much variety, three main changes are skirt hem pattern (going from the Hakurei dotted zig zag pattern to normal stitch? pattern to fancy pattern suiting the theme of the game), whether or not she has tiny bows at the ends of her detached sleeves and her shoulders (a detail which is actually a PC-98 reference it seems) and of course whether or not her outfit has splotches on it like WBaWC and UDoALG gave her
it seems Reimu prefers her yellow neckbow more, the chart is missing the fighting games but she had a blue one for HM / ULiL / AoCF

Sanae gets long socks starting with 15, I actually notice from 18 onwards Sanae's vest while keeping the same look no longer has the same blue textured pattern around the middle and edges of it like she did in her older art, it looks like ZUN redesigned it so that her skirt is a one piece shoulderless dress and the white vest goes over it while being open... looks like something you'd see her wear to a date if you took the vest and sleeves off
Sakuya gets black zettai ryouiki starting from 14 also the blue part of her shirt changes from a half suspender with sleeve straps to turning into one of those corset / playboy bunny top breast cups

I've been sort of wondering about this lately, I might have a skin defect fetish, If such a thing even exists? I never really stopped to think about it until now but... freckles, burn scars, hell even regular scars, maybe I'm overdoing it a little by lumping all of these into the same category but I've been really thinking about it these past few days, especially because I don't really have that many fetishes at all to begin with.

I think it's a combination of the style loras and vpred checkpoint I use. The vpred mix I use does a pretty good job on getting dark scenes and understanding light sources. If I use the original NoobAI vpred model it can get really dark if you prompt it right. It seems to understand natural language in this regard as well, see below.

Curious about this by the way, I had a look at the prompt and it looked mostly fine minus a few "missing" tags that I usually use for her, but realistically those shouldn't even affect anything suspenders-related. Nevertheless I tried your exact prompt too (albeit with my style) and I didn't get suspenders most of the time but I DID get them once or twice, which never happens. Afterwards kept I tried again but with my usual prompt this time (while keeping any pose-related tags you used) and it seems to have worked, no suspenders anywhere. Do you want my Rika prompts?

Yeah, much easier to do them blank then write something stupid on by hand. Kinda makes sense. Illustrious wasn't trained for text encoding; no reason it'd throw up anything but a chaotic, blurry red squiggle. Curiously, I have found it does help to prompt the string in quote marks when inpainting inserted text, even for nipponese, but it still goes far off-mark at higher denoise. It is what it is.

I also sometimes throw long_braid and petite in the positives depending on the gen so you might find it interesting to try those two tags out as well.

It's not entirely perfect by the way, my personal pet peeve is that it gens her braids in front of her shoulders instead of behind, which admittedly sounds like a me problem more than anything, but it has some actual issues like sometimes genning her with more than two braids, or giving her a huge hair bow (similar to Reimu), it's rare, but it happens. If it happens too much I put large_bow and hakurei_reimu in the negatives. Also, your checkpoint might not react to some tags the same way mine does, for example WAI often doesn't know what to do with the parted_bangs + blunt_bangs combo but Chosenmix has been getting it right every single time since I've switched to it.

I posted a list a very long time ago but it's quite outdated by now so I guess I'll take this as a chance to update it. Some PC-98 characters aside, I've yet to gen Flan, Chen, Lyrica, Merlin, Wriggle, Mokou, Medicine, Koishi, Nazrin, Ichirin, Nue, Tojiko, Miko, Mamizou, Shion, Nemuno, Eika, Mike, Misumaru, Chimata, Momoyo, Biten, Enoko, Hisami, Zanmu, Tokiko, Miyoi and Mizuchi.
Some of these I just don't like, others I don't care about enough to come up with anything, others I DO like but still can't come up with anything, and others just sound like too much of a pain to gen. Quite frankly I have no idea how some of these characters are in this list, I ought to do something about some of these.

I'm taking it easy and enjoying the slower pace. It's the /jp/ way of life, isn't it? So easy in fact I gave up on giving Sannyo her signature dragon pipe. One failed attempt at scribbling it into i2i'ing it made me throw in the towel, and I felt like the cheap solutions I had found like the smoke being shaped like a dragon were just cope. I suppose character LoRAs can only do so much. As many have shared (most prominently Chiyanon), some characters' finer details are just a nightmare, including but not limited to: Okina and Junko's tabard designs, Misumaru, Enoko's bear traps, Yatsuhashi's red plectrums (funny I mention that, early this year, I had commented on a picture of his, a Yatsuhashi handjob, saying the plectrums were missing, and now here I am as a slopper myself; having long since realized the sheer difficulty and annoyance of these finer details. Depends on if your model provider gives you an API key or other credentials you could use with SillyTavern. Then it's just a matter of grabbing one of the JB presets from /aicg/ or Reddit if you don't know how to write your own, and loading it up into your ST. I think Openrouter has some free models and you can use it with ST. But you can also sometimes just drop a simple JB into chat on your corpo provider of choice and it'll work on some models. just gotta find a working one. I mean, I'm not even JBing the newest Gemini on Pro subscription in their chat service at all (and you can trial scum it, at least where I live you can) and it does some spicy NSFW for me even without a JB, you just gotta ease it up into it a little. If its 12 you can run rocinante for just pure smut but keep in mind all AI models suck at long term for various reasons and keeping them coherent is mostly up to you manage them directly by re-writing their output when it veers off or manually keeping a log of important story points to keep within context and then also slapping your model when it repeats those points out of nowhere for no reason. At some point you're better off just writing a full fanfic by yourself and asking an AI for corrections.
Lorebooks help with the latter at least but are a chore to maintain.

The biggest boon that corpo models have is significantly more complete knowledge of touhou characters and monster girl features.

It is my largely unsubstantiated headcanon that Megumu's an up-jumped Crow Tengu. How come? Well, her design's just vaguely crowy (dark hair, black coat reminiscent of wings), the tripod calls forth the suggestion of perching, plus who better to keep the nosey birds in check than one who knows their foibles intimately? Tengu are shapeshifters in any event (in myth and demonstrated by Aya), so it shouldn't be beyond them to adjust their form to reflect their social advancement. Hell, it might be there are no distinct Tengu phenotypes, simply stratified classes wearing semi-uniform shapes.
Either way you hack it, Megumu letting her wings hang out in private is a cute mental image, and that's my final argument.

Tenma is the boss of the all the tengu who all tengu answer too.

See here's the thing is I'm a turbo-autist who knows the truth is the Tengu actually don't have animal features at all in every instance of ZUN drawing them, which I find super interesting because it does mean Tengu are distinct from animal youkai who do clearly have animal features on them. Closest to a wolf youkai we've gotten is Enoko and she does have ears and a tail and as for birds Kutaka has bird wings and a tail too (or it could be a Saki situation and she has incredibly long hair) However I know everyone here loves the animal features so I had to throw my two cents in.
I actually believe that while Momiji has white hair that's just a funny coincidence and in-fact other wolf tengu don't really look that different from any other Tengu. Now the idea that what kind of animal features they're allowed to morph reflects their status and the Daitengu adopt the features of their subordinates is a good one.
And i'll be honest the wings do add more appeal... although I wish people did more interesting things with them (i.e using them to cover up their bits whether for seductive posing or accidental exposure, doing the canopy hunting trick to cover up some hanky panky, using it to hold someone close or punching someone with them cause I used to be a goose farmer and funfact the whole biting thing is entirely intimidation because geese punch if they want to actually kill you, they use the knuckle / elbow joint before the wing bends back and it's strong enough to break bones and that's a goose imagine if like Utsuho punched someone's head with her wing, would smash it like a pumpkin. Geese also eat snakes as I found out when my boy Gustav just randomly slurped one up like Spaghetti so fast before I could even react, guess that's why they call the other snake hunting animal a Mongoose. I found that "wing censor" tends to give wing lumps like you've got. "covering with wings" seems to help a little, so the Megumu one is completely unedited barring an upscale pass. Aya was refusing to cover up so I just inpainted from scratch, which is why the wings aren't very good looking. In the shower one above, I moved them around on her back then i2i'd, but that doesn't work for wing censors in most compositions.
Based on some of my older casually nude Aya gens, "convenient censoring" might help, but you'll also often have random detritus added to cover up with instead.

One trick I've found helpful in getting lipstick to look reasonable is to save it for inpainting the face. T2i->i2i lipstick always ends up too exaggerated for my taste.

Nah, this was all T2I with I2I upscaling, no extreme editing done whatsoever. I think the main tags that prompted the censoring were wing censor, black wings and convenient censoring, with feathers and black feathers in the negatives in hopes of avoiding mistakes, but as I said it was very inconsistent and I got gens like the catboxed ones extremely often. If you're wondering about the pose though it was a complete AI coin toss, the only thing I prompted was finger to mouth and feet out of frame.

I assume this was a joke but it reminds me, earlier in 2025 and throughout 2024, it genuinely felt like Tewi was one of the most if not the most commonly seen girls in AI generated works. It seems to have calmed since then and I haven't really seen any big discrepancy since then, although I only really have a few points of reference in Civit, Pixiv and 2chan, and quite frankly its not too different from what's popular in the proper artist space. Digging into the most downloaded character LoRAs gives disappointingly predictable results.
2chan's kinda like us, but less reliant on artist mix (something about Japanese ethics), and more varied than Pixiv/Civit, minus PC-98. They do have that chart of all the girls being assigned a number, and either a post at the beginning determines a "girl of the thread" or they can roll to get a character to generate. Them being able to do proper rolls above 2 digits and independant of the pace of the board makes it work better than it would here.

Maybe I hyperfixate on it but Megumu's long, golden pauldron instinctively makes me want to put some yellow into the color scheme of whichever outfit i'm giving her. The initial draw was a Calvin Klein sorta underwear, mostly because I hadn't done it before, but I understood why these rarely deviate from white or black, so they ended up as sportsy looking underwear, which I suppose works for the irony of it.
