If you mean the one off the wiki (eratohoTW-eng-release), that's pretty much from the 'true original' branch that was abandoned 5-6 years ago. If you want a version of TW that hasn't seen any updates since those times, grab it and play it.

The one listed under >Games is the one that /egg/ mostly plays when it comes to TW (anonTW branch). It's the most up to date one here. When people talk about TohoTW, most of the time they are talking about anonTW.

There are anons who play the two other active TohoTW branches, which aren't listed in the OP - pedyTW, and eraNAS ('pops-tw'). For most part, pedyTW is just as 'up to date' as anonTW. In fact, anonTW often commits changes from pedyTW and vice versa. The only difference is that pedyTW has 2hus from a specific game totally removed (you can look up archives about it or someone else can answer that if you really want to know why). I'm pretty sure pedyTW also commits changes from AnonTW as appropriate.

Then we have eraNAS. Initially it was just 'pops-tw', just another branch of TohoTW, but the reason why not many anons play it (or would admit that they play it), is that Pops pretty much treated it as their own private project and started adding in all kinds of stuff. At first it started with Pops' main fetish (diaper play, scat and incontinence play), but then eventually started going further, by adding in Rimworld mechanics. Yeah. Raiders, Factions and Religions, weapons including guns and magic, 2hus (original and random) that can die permanently, bionics and research, the lot. Also has RJW stuff in that you can go rapin' as well. Or as much as Pops could try to transfer over, anyway. Pops also tried to incorporate parts of TohoK into it, which kind of made the whole thing a big mess of coding. Despite all that, I'd still say that it's worth a try (or two), just to see what happens if someone really decides to go crazy with their own project.

Of all of them (Original, AnonTW, PedyTW and eraNAS), only eraNAS has FeMC pregnancy. But FeMC pregnancy makes anons who play TW mad because who plays female or futa characters?

I should add that it may require you to download and install .Net 10, as one of the emuera core updates made this a requirement. Yeah, the repo is pretty stable. I usually recommend waiting a day or two before pulling new commits, just in case they turn out to break something, so there's time for someone to notice and fix it, but the latest commit only changes something extremely minor so it should be stable overall.

Well to start off I'm pretty sure it's a toggle so go enable it. Once enabled the button should be next to time stop but you can't use it in places with witnesses. You'll suck at first and girls might hate you when you fail but it's a skill so your odds improve with practice. If you hypnotize girls into going out in their underwear/being naked enough times they might start doing it on their own as well. It also lets you avoid getting hate mark 1 though I don't remember if that had a hypnosis level requirement or roll attached to it.
Also be sure to try hypnotizing Reisen for funny results.

I tried playing K twice before, once as a leader where I quickly got overwhelmed and reamed and then again as just a fuck boy where I quickly got bored. I spent most of yesterday playing as just an officer and switching sides once things got dire after seeing anons talk about playing that way and I've been having a lot more fun. Bandits, Committee, and Succubus enabled at strength 1 delayed spawn.
Started in Keine's faction and quickly got Kozusu pregnant ||why does this happen every time I play an eratoho game?|| before noticing what way the winds were turning. Bandits made me an offer to join them so I did. Whilst I was with them Seija appears and calls Kozusu trash so I raped that bitch and then the rest of the bandits got to enjoy her. Aya then shows up and recruits me in exchange for her body which is all the excuse I need to jump ship. At this point the committee spawned and were promptly defeated. Keine somehow managed to last several turns longer than I thought but they finally died.... for a turn before respawning with the five central provinces.
Sanae was our first prisoner and I promptly set about dicking her. She makes a fine slave. Mamizou was captured via event and recruited from house arrest (I don't know why I didn't give her the rape).
Junko, despite being one of the strongest leaders, has given me sex via the diplomatic menu the absolute fucking whore.
Sakuya and Numeno were captured and also recruited from house arrest, Numeno sworn her body to me via event, I don't know why I didn't show Sakuya the penis.
Suwako and Minoriko got taken prisoner as well and I'm giving them the slave treatment. Ideally I'd want Suwako to love me but she was fertile and I couldn't help myself.
Aya's faction is losing steam due to focusing all her armies on the much stronger inchling faction and allowing what were single province states to devour our heartlands. I want to corrupt Momiji and Nitori before moving on.

I only and exclusively play K as Wanderer because I play it as TW but worse. And I'm not kidding, literally just watching everyone fight each other as I visit touhous and impregnate them.

I always play starting as a Wanderer, with special factions and all. Always play that very unpredictable 'random rulers with 1 territory' start as well, while also having Generic Officers on. This means that factions (including Special ones) will always recruit Generic Officers until they have at least 4 or 5 officers, while still grabbing the occasional Wanderer. I do turn off certain events like the addictive drugs and such, although having the Bandits active as it were already promotes that stuff (my beef against it is that those addicted to drugs can only be cured by a single daily event, and even then the 'doctor' can choose to rape instead of curing).

I also turn on death in battles (generics only) and executions (non-2hu only), but unfortunately because executions can only be 'non-2hu only' or 'all', it does mean that a normal faction can just choose to execute (You) instead of throwing into the rape dungeon - one thing that other more 'modern' K's like eraAL-K and eraFGO-K did right by also excluding (You) from being considered as part of the 'generics'.

Because Special Factions are enabled, most of my gameplay usually ends up being joining a normal faction when offered a load of cash, doing Arenas for more cash, then bailing out the 2hus that inevitably get kidnapped/captured by the Special Factions via the Black Market (generics can fend for themselves), though most of the time I usually bail out and return the 2hus back to their faction for diplomacy points. Though that stops if I end up getting captured by another faction - I don't try to bail out of my faction if it looks like they're about to get destroyed, even by a Special Faction. That said, I do try to 'fight' against that fate by controlling army deployments if I can (you can do that even as an Officer; your Ruler might send them elsewhere anyway).

That said, I wish TohoK had some of the features of the 'new' FGO-K, like more 'safe exploration' (especially if playing as F*male or F*ta), and also being able to designate your character as a non-combatant (cannot be sent into combat). But TohoK development has pretty much stopped completely, after all.

EratohoK should have a characterevents.txt file inside the game folder. Just Ctrl+F love, submission or any specific character you want. Though from what I remember there weren't many events for the submission fall.

If you can run a translator plugged to an LLM then you're gonna get far better results, Sugoi has an interface for it - if you're manually copypasting lines then it will work fine
The only problem is if you'd want to fetch lines automatically, because even the era-clipboard workaround is no longer effective; I tried to raise this with Sugoi's dev but idk if anything can be done about it

The overarching stories are mostly all the same but with different story beats of the mainline games. SMT2 is a direct sequel of the Lawful ending of SMT1 which might be interesting to you if you feel like playing (or watching) both. SMT4 and Strange Journey have maybe the most involved stories.

How can you find out what you can equip in AL-K? I found q and a file that says to check the "装備確認装備確認着用表" but I can't find any table or list in the files that shows what is equipable nor does the shop, equip change, or help menus have one. This K version is really skimping on the tooltips. Also no button to auto assign people to the best jobs but instead only being able to assign everyone to one job is just weird.

AL-K just kind of sucks. By all rights a K Azur Lane game should be good, but somehow AL-K manages to feel bloated, janky, unpolished, and unfinished all at once.I have no idea what the devs are spending all their time doing for it to feel like it's not improving whatsoever.

The 'new FGO-K' is on the '/plus/' branch, but that one was simply slapped onto there and that's about it. It's a pretty ambitious project for a K era game, in that it can allow for characters to get Fall States with each other, instead of only (You) (and Special Factions) being capable of getting Fall States with another character.

Generally what can be equipped is first based on two things - are they Human, or are they a Ship Girl? If Human, you pretty much can't equip almost anything except accessories, I think. Or maybe nothing at all. If a Ship Girl, it then depends on what kind of Ship they are. For example, some Turrets can only be fit onto Destroyers and Light Cruisers, while some can only be used by Light and Heavy Cruisers, etc. There are also a few 'Other' and 'Modern' equipment that can be attached onto any Ship Girl, even if they're a Supply Ship for example. Otherwise things like Repair Cranes can only be put onto Repair Ships, Sea Planes can only be put onto Light Carriers and some Heavy Cruisers and Aircraft Battleships, actual Carrier Planes can only be put onto Carriers, etc. Equipment doesn't need to match the Ship Girl's nationality, so you could put Zeroes on the Enterprise, for example.

As for the Job Assignment thing, you should be able to manually set the jobs for each character individually. Whether they can do a particular job or not I think depends on their stats, but you could think of the jobs more as stat training, really. Some jobs like the business and idol/livestream ones I think actually get better monetary returns the longer you keep them at it (e.g. number of fans increases for the livestreams), but beyond certain Ship Girls, I usually just assign them to Attack/Defence jobs until a certain point.

One thing I've noticed is that for 'stat training' via jobs, the exp required to 'gain stats' seem to be based on their current stats. So if you say had a Battleship Ship Girl with 30 Attack do the 'Attack' job, they'd get stats faster than if you had equipped Battleship turrets and stuff that raised their Attack to 170 or something.

Having said all that, while I like how AL-K's combat system works, it pretty much is a hot mess of bugs. There were EN translations for AL-K being done, but they eventually gave up on it due to every AL-K JP version introducing new bugs that require like up to 10 patches after to fix problems, which might either break other things or not fix some other problems.

I hope eventually eraFL and/or eraOCG will get a look at. Both of their menus/interfaces are such that they make it difficult to play with standard translators like Sugoi, unless you've played them enough that you have a rough idea of what does what and which is which. eraFL can be quite fun when you really get into it, especially because it uses the era4X system as its base.

Giving up on AL-K. It's just weird. Not knowing anything about the setting doesn't help and I think there being just so many characters doesn't help me be interested. Both FGO and AL have more features than Toho-K but their base systems are so much worse. Maybe my familiarity with touhou and megaten was a larger factor in my enjoyment of the relevant games than I thought.

The four stats are just different ways for getting the girl to like you. Besides some minor details the only relevant stat is the one you have the highest with a girl, although affection and lust normally make the girl accept your sexual advances easier, with them unlocking the lewd actions.
Now the system for romance only applies if you make a girl your lover, which is capped to one unless you get the Harem making skill from the ZP shop, which then you can make it grow to a cap of 100. The romance level also levels up from your interactions with the girl, but it allows you to confess when at level 50 and marry at level 100 if she lives with you. Confessing makes the girl into your lover and makes you you auto-succeed on pushing her down. It also boosts your score to allow you to do difficult to do commands like taking the virginity of a prude girl.

For instance there was this dancer chick who has been in the game since very early on and her entire character is being in love with the MC and her most recent alt has her just shrug and decide to stop pursuing them. It's like if Marisa decided to stop stealing shit or Reimu decided to actually enact a proper youkai genocide.
