love those fat lower legs, no idea what they are called and what media is most prominent for it... I know it had sorta a moe revival in the early 2000s but no idea how to even begin to find material with such proportions... rememer seeing some older figurines here and there on ebay having those. Historically I sorta traced it back to Astroboy - but that's from the 50s/60s.Please share some titles, artists, stuff I can check out to satisfy my needs if you know any!
That's a really interesting question OP, but one that I'm not versed enough to give a proper answer to. One artist I think you might like is though is Ebimomo: https://www.pixiv.net/users/1844541His art is really nice but I don't see it posted much anywhere. The proportions of his characters vary from relatively normal to popeye-armed, stump-legged moe girls so his stuff should be the type of art you're looking for (most of then are barefoot so bonus if you're into that). I love his very painterly style, especially stuff like picrel with its huge whispy tails and decorative floral elements.
>>50446249Oh yeah, I actually know ebimomo. Like his style alot. Thanks for the reminder.
