A new difficulty level above 甲 (maybe 甲改 or something) which is just 甲 but with gauge regen, and after the first map, you can only pick 甲改 if you also picked it for the previous map, along with other restrictions. Locking previously cleared maps (like spring 2013) once selected until you clear the map or drop difficulty would be a good start. Especially if the map has debuff gimmicks that require sortieing to earlier maps to take effect. Or maybe we can lock in the selection after you clear E1, such that you can only pick 甲改 all the way, and each map you clear gets greyed out until you clear the entire event. Speaking of which, how about you can choose the order in which to clear the earlier maps like spring 2013, and each map requires sortieing to other maps to debuff it.Clearing the last map on 甲改 rewards two 甲 medals instead of just one.

It just won't show visually; she'll be displayed as 1 HP like enemies you "sink" in the battle. It's meant to show that she's out of commission for the battle, but you don't actually lose her to sinking because it's just a "practice" battle.

Did Yoshinori change his art style lately? Akizuki looks a lot more glossy in her sanma seasonal and her kai ni compared to the original art and the yukata. Especially the eyes. The colour looks completely different.
