This is about anikura (アニクラ) which is a portmanteau of the loan words anison (アニソン) and club (クラブ). Interestingly enough, anison itself is a portmanteau of anime (アニメ) and song (ソング) which refers to musical tracks used in various anime series and is often misspelled by adding a "g" at the end since bawka gaijins can't into nippongo properly. Regardless, anikura refers to the use of "anison" related music in a "club setting" hence the genre's name. Still confused? MOGRA can be used as the base on discovering other venues and even DJs who also stream online.Since online streaming is the play, there are international anikura which primarily stream online and also hold physical events when available. Unlike last year they didn't do dual DJ bullshit and they took things pretty slow all around so it wasn't that hard to time out with the VOD.My only recommendation is maybe consider skipping yuriko tiger if you get to them and it just feels off. I had to skip ahead manually on my first listen because they just kept playing vchuba shit with really, really bad tempo. It's not even necessarily that it was vchuba shit(there was a lot of other vchuba shit through the event), it just that that set really didn't click.Would still recommend checking out the event, though it's definitely not super anison oriented.
